I've been following this channel for years. I was able to do pullups by doing negative pullups. I didn't even know that was an option until I saw it on this channel. I recently (6/24) bought gymnastics rings specifically because of this video. I can hardly wait to get started. Edit) I attempted to do each of the Level 1 exercises and I managed to do around ten passive/active hangs, ring turnouts but zero knee raises. I never expected the rings to wobble as much as it did. I figured it will be easier after I lose enough weight doing other calisthenic exercises. As of 8/18/24 I'm around 185 pounds.

At 61 I've always been an athlete and have transitioned form all types of maintenance exercises at the very BORING gyms for Running, MTB & Swimming. The iron cross is a very high risk movement, that's why people who don't professionaly practice gymnastics don't learn it. It's a high risk/low reward movement imo. Do some searching on the internet and you'll find a lot of people having bad experiences learning the iron cross
