The information and demonstrations are thorough, unhurried and complete - it is particularly useful to see incorrect form too since awareness of postural inaccuracies should lead to safer exercise. Hi, I am experiencing some elbow pain by calisthenics and I was searching for methods to stretch my arm muscles and/or release tension on my elbows. I tried these drills and with the last exercise of the third drill, I feel some pain in my elbows, but I don't know if that indicates that I'm stretching my arms and elbow joints (so that it helps against the injury) or if it occurs because it's actually hurting my elbows and making the injury worse. Could someone please explain whether it's good or bad and whether or not I should keep doing the exercise to get rid of my elbow injury. It would help me a lot, thanks in advance!

Please make front lever and back lever tutorial and progressions video(s)
@zoorrken7 жыл бұрын
Yes great idea. Knee tucked - > one knee tucked other leg out.
@Senecamarcus7 жыл бұрын
zoorrken 1000% wrong. I have never seen any living soul learn Front Lever through progressions of Tuck bla bla. You cant do front lever it means you got weak lats. You need to do volume heavy and bw pull ups. Nobody I know from past 20 years have learned FL through progressions. Do you think before YT and interent people did progressions to learn FL no? People just ignore basics. BW calisthenics need volume lots of volume you cant ve doing 5x5 and expect fast results. Go volume 300-400 reps from super heavy weight, to mid then light then bodyweight.
@zoorrken7 жыл бұрын
Dona, you're definitely right. However if you can actually do the front lever with one leg straight wouldn't that be good for progess? 5x5 wont get results? Is weighted pull ups as important ad bw pull ups?
@Senecamarcus7 жыл бұрын
zoorrken thing is my man 1 leg tuck then to 1 leg tuck adv then to straddle then to FL is not as easy as it seems. If you been doing any training you can get to 1 leg FL tuck in no time but it wont get yu to FL. im saying this coz ive seen it 100s of times. And i train with some old people 50+ that can do FL easy even FL pulls and they never did these progressions. So then how to get FL in short time? Calisthenic = about volume if you wanna learn the elements. So a quick training log for you would be based on the fact that you can do 20kg x5reps clean with dead hang. 20kg x40 reps 15kg x50 reps 10kg x60 reps 5kg x70reps 2.5kg x80 reps wide grip (pull to the side as if you wanna elbow your side to hit your lats) BW x100 reps wide grip (same as earlier) Once done x100 bodyrows Day 2 you do skill training with bands lots of holds with lots of sets so like 30sets of FL hold with band take 1-2mins break each set. The band that most beginners should start with is the green one then you can go to red/pink. Alternate with these 2 for a month and then try Front Lever hold by pulling up and then get in FL position through ice-cream maker. Record your video see if your lats are engaged or not. Month 2 u bring changes add more weight/reduce rest time/more sets on HOLD
@Senecamarcus7 жыл бұрын
zoorrken it may seem crazy voulme but that is how u get good. if you train with real people they always do high volume. Calisthenic is all about high volume training. You need to do BW pull up with weighted. You try it post exhaust and it does wonders.
