As someone whose complete experience with dance "lessons" has thus far been: been learning the "boot scootin' boogie" in gym class in middle school, a million black and white movies with her mom, and one ill-fated attempt at Theater Club in forty years, this is the absolute most reasonable and practical tutorial I have ever seen. This video is incredibly relatable, seeming to tap into the very thoughts of confused, insecure, and frightened music lovers everywhere. I watched this *sober* and felt like I could follow along. I wanted to say that I love doing the dances to songs that have them. I have watched KZbin tutorials on other dances.. you are by far the absolute best!! You make it so easy to learn! I tried a couple times watching him and his daughter doing it at regular speed and I gave up!! I got it now!! Thank you so much!! On whim I decided to learn this dance yesterday. When I searched for a tutorial I fully expected to be very frustrated with multiple mediocre to bad videos that went way too fast or did not explain the steps enough. I will say I was blown away by how easily I found this very good video. I am dyslexic and doing a choreographed dance can be very difficult for me. I found her breakdown of the steps were very good and easy to follow. If I were to guess she is a dance teacher. Now, I just need to practice about 1,000 times more and I might have it down 🤣.
