Hi. I'm 50 years old. I rarely go to clubs because I don't drink. But last week I was invited to a club. I remembered your tutorials and did the moves on the floor. Well.. apparently it worked because a lot of guys wanted to dance with me and not with the twenty something girls I was with. My friends couldn't stop laughing at how I attracted so many men considering I don't even dance. I must have done something right. Thank you for the videos.

What she's teaching here: 1) Finding the beat 2) Step movement 3) Knee movement 4) Hip movement 5) Shoulder movement 6) Head movement These are the *basics* of any dance. All those "name dances" that come out every few months in high school have a very short shelf life and are *not* good once you're grown up. But if you can really master these basics, you will always look good dancing on the rare occasions, like a wedding reception or a work party. The BASICS are what saves you, not trying to remember those trendy dance moves from 5 or 10 years ago!

I have the dance coordination of a walrus, I've looked up help videos on KZbin all the time, especially seeing how I have to dance down the isle at my cousin's wedding I'm in soon, and videos are all like "haha dance in a box'" or "do this weird arm thing" or some odd hip hop move, and not things that will just make me pass as a normal person on the dance floor, and you go over the basics that they all skip and you teach practical stuff, and it seriously helped me! You just saved one girl's self esteem on a very stressful day! Thank you so much!!!

It’s kind difficult to dance when you’re on crutches 👎😐😏. I’m so envious of all you guys who are able to dance. Just get out there, do your own thing, move to your own groove, shake ya shimmy, sway them hips, tap them feet....just do your own thing! Just go for it! Bugger what anyone else thinks. If anything, they’re probably a bit envious of you for having the guts to have a go! 🙂. Live in the moment and enjoy yourself! It’s like the saying goes, dance like no one’s watching 👌🙂

I'm just starting cardio exercises in my workout. I love dance (not very fit for it atm). So I thought I'd find easy beginner dance moves to make cardio fun while learning something new. This may not seem like much to most people, but as I said, I'm not all that fit yet. So this is perfect for getting some cardio going while learning basic dance stuff. Once I'm more comfortable with cardio, I can notch it up in speed and dance moves. Thank you!

I feel like I can feel the beat, bc when the video started, I closed my eyes and got my friend to check if I was on track, I surprisingly was, but I always had a very deep interest in music, but instead of dancing I preferred the singing side. I used to think that dancing was just about learning certain moves and putting them together, now I might do beginner dancing lessons, (after I shape up my body correctly) and try increasing my knowledge of dancing, and try my own style, my own choreography, Thank you so much, you have truly inspired me and helped me! 😊😊

Infact when I hear music and its a good day my body wants to move to it, its hard not to do something. They have cool music at a church group with a band and its hard not to dance, hey its great music and we sing too. Love it! great video, a lot of the things mentioned i noticed them myself. But if you dont have a music or dance background its very foreign. I always knew about the count but the snare and clap are completely new and its good to know now because that is what would throw me off dancing to a song.

Kudos to you. I clicked on this only because it came up on my screen. I have always been a very good dancer, but I can't tell you why. I've always thought that either you've got it or you don't. But while reading some of the comments, I began to see that there actually are people who are learning from your instructions. I'm readjusting my thinking on whether dancing can be learned. I'm happy to see that there are those who have benefited from your teaching and are enjoying themselves on the dance floor. Gave you a thumbs up!
