I tuned in late at the ending of this broadcast. But I'm 20 minutes into the video right now. I just wanna say thank you! Because I need 2 get my passion back. It's been about 10 years since I've backslidden in my relationship with God. Or rather put I threw in the towel when the testing of my faith was being tested. I allowed the enemy 2 steal my identity. But I need 2 go 2 the enemies camp and take back what he has stolen from me. Thank you for the teachings on fasting and telling us how 2 go back 2 the basics or reapply the things we've learned from before in our walks with God. Im feeling a snese of hope while listening 2 this. I forgot I use 2 fast back then in my relationship with God. I dont know how my mind got foggd up forgot how I use 2 serve Him. When I get the chance I'll donate. This broadcast has blessed me and I hope 2 learn more, grow spiritually, and restore my relationship with God. Oh and fast more than ever. Lol. Most of the time we’re praying, “God, get me out of this challenge. Get me out of this trouble at work, get me out of this financial setback, get me out of this sickness.” There’s nothing wrong with that, but before you get out, you have to invite God in. Instead of just praying, "God, get me out," start praying, “God, come into this hospital room while I take the treatment, come into this trouble at work where these people are unfair, come into this anxiety that I’m dealing with.”

The times in my walk that I had backslidden or fallen away from the Lord, or became uninterested in reading the word, it's ALWAYS fasting that enables me to be obedient to the holyspirit..It's always Fasting that lights the fire again..to want to pray and to desire to praise him. People swear fasting can be any form of sacrifice..not so. Fasting is abstaining from food. Everything else is a sacrifice and a great way to build self control and be more sensitive to holyspirit. But biblical fasting is abstaining from food for spiritual purposes. Thank you Pastor!
