Welcome to the Lazy Days series. These are the perfect workouts for when you are feeling a bit lazy, but still want to exercise. They are great for beginners who are just starting out with Barlates, or for any other fitness level who want an easier day. There are a variety of different styles so you can choose the exact workout that you feel like doing without any dread factor.
In Lazy Days Walk Sculpt you will start with some easy to follow walking and step stepping combinations, with the addition of some knee lifts and butt kicks to make it more interesting. Then you will move to a parallel calf raise segment, a bend extend to the front, to the back and then to the front and back combo. Next, more calf raises in turn out before doing the other side. Then another walking cardio segment before a wide plie segment with oblique bends and sweeps. Then a glute raise segment with your tummy on the chair. Repeat on the other side and finish with a lengthening stretch.

Equipment: mat, chair, light hand weights

Linda, I believe I have discovered the difference btw your lazy days workouts and your other ones. When you count down reps you actually mean it...none of your "8 more..." then 40 counts later I am dying on the floor (LOL!!!!) . I love your workouts for years so just teasing you :) Thank you for this series, enjoying it very much!

I enjoyed this walking workout. I felt too tired to do something more intense. Got my heart rate up and I used 1kg dumbbells.

I was looking for an easier workout due to the fact that I have been sick for the past week or so and I finally felt good enough to do something easy. I found this and it felt so good to move again. I appreciated this so much. Question: Because your library is so vast, do you have easier workouts for post sickness/injuries, etc.? Thank you for the workout!
