I 100% feel the pain of not having energy, being out of ideas, not knowing where to start, being tired after searching for that one sound, and more. Is music making fun? Sure, when it is working out! I am glad you show the other side as well. Subscribed to support your process.

The m-audio mini 32 was my first midi keyboard, i love that it fits perfectly into a laptop bag so it's like having a portable studio in a bag.

Finally some realistic insights into this process. It's exactly like that for some of us and not the perfect, pristine no mistakes videos everywhere on KZbin. Thank you for posting, you could turn it into a music diary and share the struggle as well as the eureka moments, I think that would be appreciated. Either way good luck and have fun.

Yo lets go!!! Love to see the real stuff. Things are hard and beginnings can be even harder... The title of this video and what you speak about here are vary inspiring. It's like starting a camp fire or something the way you set it up and tend to it in the early stage is what helps it to grow bigger. I just started a new relationship about a week ago as in couple and its been great... there is what I like to call growing pains though where we are learning things about each other building the foundation so we can coexist with each other and a lot of work is being done to do that on both ends. Also me and my brother are working on a song and many things we are also learning for the first time so yeah I get what you mean. Thanks for the video its super cool! I might come back to this video when I start something new in my life or at least think about this video. New things are awesome though that means we are living a new experience and growing even if they can be hard its worth it in the end

I work as a software engineer, and love to make music on the side. This video is so relatable to me! basically forget everything I know about ableton over the last year as I only have time to focus on improving my guitar playing. And as an engineer, love the reference to an IDE lol def would watch this as a livestream on twitch

50% distraction, 30% chaos and 20% progress, this is what usually happens during a song making progress for beginner producers like us.

Great video. The process is daunting at times but you are getting back into it. Don't expect miracles. You are doing it. Trying it's all that matters. When we were younger we had so much more free time on our hands to work on projects. Now that we are a bit older we have to put our time elsewhere like adulting. So we may not have a lot of time for our dreams because we have to put food on the table pay the bills which requires work. 😢 But you are trying and succeeding at your creative passions. Look on the positive side. It has been awhile and you still have the skills to create. It's a win!!! (Yay!!)😅 I love to watch the creative process.. getting the sounds that are inside your head out into life is difficult.. I would like for you to have a youtube channel with your music you created.. Maybe call it "AUGY - MUSIC" I had a hard time finding your music. I didn't have it book marked. So please create a centralized channel for all viewers /:listeners can hear your music 🎵 Since I discovered you I like to listen to your music from time to time.. I like the vibe that you are creating 😊

Great video. This is definitely how I feel right now. I haven't been in a music-making mood since 2020, when we had that thing that shall not be named. I keep downloading FL Studio and deleting it after a few days because I just can't find the inspiration. I want to find that spark I once had.
@augystudioАй бұрын
That's tough 😓 good luck finding your spark! it's there somewhere waiting for you:)
@x-STORMXX-x6 күн бұрын
Focus on one thing at a time and take breaks when you need them. Also deleting and re-downloading the DAW I feel is not really helping in anyway so just keep it on there so when you do get a spark you're not having to do a download the DAW before you start. Find something that inspires you in life maybe and take a break from music. Music is more easy to make when you are making music about life then trying to make music for life. You can do both but, making something from nothing is a big drain even though there is beauty in that as well. Also if you're keen here is a few music artist that may help you with some idea's... The Amity Affliction, Veela, Covet .... im sure there is something for you with one of them artist. Much Love!
@sipi_b6 күн бұрын
@@x-STORMXX-x Thank you so much for your valuable insight! I truly appreciate it and will definitely explore the artists you mentioned. I'll also make a point to stop deleting the DAW and instead focus on finding inspiration to spark my creativity. It’s amazing how a few kind words can reignite passion-thank you for being that spark today!

@@sipi_b I think we should look after each other in this world and I try and be the change I want to see in the world as I can't change the world. I'm not perfect and I for sure have my own short comings like any other person. You're more then welcome and im happy I was able to help even if just a little. I do what I can to put love in this world because it gets cold sometimes it really does.

How are you using the Akai Fire controller without FL Studio?
@augystudio2 күн бұрын
If you just plug it in, it works like a midi keyboard where you can play different notes. I think there are also ways to program it to customize but i haven't tried it. I haven't figured out how to change octaves on it in the default mode, so i just use the small m-audio controller which has buttons for it

@ I'm currently poor at sound engineering. There is a perfect tune in my head but searching for that tune in my DAW (logic x) is a pain in the *$$. However, sometimes I find a tune so similar and I struggle to make it sound like the tune that is running in my head. I suck at filters! Did you get the idea of what I'm telling you?
