Begonia luxurians LOVE high humidity which is why people say they do well under a dome or terrarium. I would recommend placing it by a humidifier if you have one :)

Hi Suzette, my one is doing ok, but I nearly lost it burning up in the lowest amount of sun in the window. I moved it away from the window and it has artificial light, it's growing but really leggy. I've had to stake it up because the stems are so flimsy but the leaves are pretty. I couldn't have it outside either, especially now it's Autumn. I hope your one perks up and does well, it's a beautiful plant but you're right, there's not much out there about it as a houseplant. Great video

Oh wow... That's very interesting .... This plant seems to be a Diva#! 😂😂 and yes I never see any videos, and very,little info on the internet.. Keep me updated on yours and how she's doing under your grow light... I've had mine in 3 spots and she just not really,doing anything😖😖✌💖

@@tropicalplantmomma It's actually not a grow light, it's just a fluorescent light fixed under the shelf above it. Its leaves are pretty but the stems are way too spindly and later I may have to prune it to give it a thicker shape. I may have to add some growlights in Winter though!

Thanks for the useful tips. I wonder if you could look into the possibility of moving away from sphagnum moss and peat, as it is so damaging to such crucial ecosystems? (I'm afraid I'm not allowed to post a link to alternatives.) Thanks!

Suzette what kind& Size bulb do U use on your plants that U get at Walmart I have a 5 bulb holder on my pole want to put it in the corner for them & how long to leave them on every day

Hi... I just get the better value 100 watt LED bulbs and they should run at least 10 - 12 hours a day.😳 Hope this helps✌💖

Im not having much luck with mine😭 I just,last week put her in my grow tent to see if it does anything. This plant,is driving me,nuts!!!😂😂😟😟🎅🎄🎅🎄✌💖

I'm sure you can resurrect her! Those roots are great looking. Do you think humidity could be a factor? I thought I read luxurians like it higher. Haha. I was anxious at first that jug was apple cider vinegar 😂 Keep us updated how it goes ❤💚💕

Thanks Chris... My humidity is pretty high in my plant room.,its been averaging about 70% ...she came in really bad shape and that did not help. I just hope everything I'm doing helps. I made that video about 2 weeks ago, I just today moved her to my grow tent because I wasn't seeing any change... So ill be watching her in there😖✌💖

You have to put in self-watering pot. I killed my first one and as a last ditch effort I put my second one in self-watering pot and theres no more crispy tips and a lot of new growth. I give no direct light and no extra humidity I promise you it worked for me.
