11:24 Carcass's St. George's Hall 1989 live album has their most insane vocals in my opinion. That actually might be my favorite release of theirs ever. Especially that version of Ruptured In Purulence. Although you do have to be careful playing it on a good sound system because there's parts with microphone feedback that might hurt your ears lol. Used to think I received a defective copy or something. It wasn't until I listened to it on KZbin one day that I realized all copies had that insane popping on it, and it wasn't just mine. Behemoth is a great and strange band. They take some of heavy metal’s darkest and deepest impulses and shape them into glorious clarity that remains essential rock and roll throughout. Their masterpiece The Satanist gives expression to something that has been important to black metal since it started in Norway and that has roots in earlier death metal like Morbid Angel and still earlier metal all the way back to Black Sabbath. Midian puts it home on a STREEERTCHER. Same with the live album of that tour, Live Bait for the Dead.

@@EagleHeart19 The only good songs on Midian are Lord Abortion, and Tortured Soul Asylum. Nymphetamine has Heavier songs with less annoying Kate Bush style Female Vocals, and more guitars. Less keyboards. I prefer the songs like the title track from Principal of Evil Made Flesh, and Hosanna in Extremis ( the Rape and Ruin of Angels). They are a lot better at the U.K Sabbat style Thrash, than their Bauhaus with Donald Duck material.

@Hecatecrossways Cthulu Dawn, Saffron's Curse, and Amor E Morte are also good songs. I actually never owned Nymphetamine or gave it a proper chance. Principal of Evil Made Flesh a great album. Maybe my favorite.

@EagleHeart19 Midian is a good album. It's just that Nymphetamine is a Heavier album. It has become trendy to hate the album for some reason. Damnation and a Day was also good. My favorites are Principal of Evil Made Flesh, Vempyre, Dusk and Her Embrace, and From the Cradle to Enslave. I was disappointed in Midian because of From the Cradle to Enslave, and Bitter Suites to Succubi Made me expect the upcoming album to be really Heavy, and less artsy.

@EagleHeart19 Nymphetamine is even less Black Metal than Midian . I don't know if anyone actually considers anything after Dusk and Her Embrace to be Black Metal.
