@Don't Reply Well as I understand it Akephalos is a headless being originating somewhere from long in the past, possibly as far back as Mesopotamia. But definitely since the Roman Empire. So they could easily have included their depicition of a headless entity and get creative since there's not a huge amount of information on what it looked like, really throw some creepy design out. If nothing else look the actual ritual for summoning it up and perform that...you know, if you're not terrified to actually summon an enterdimensional entity of terror by accident assuming you believe in that stuff. Which I think Behemoth does, they seem to be very serious about this stuff unlike other bands who just "Satanism" or "Occult" as a way to draw people in (like Ghost for instance who are 100% using it a lure). Same here, i dont relate to Nergal's love for Satan or burning children in the name of Moloch but whats amazing about this song aside from how well the music is structured is how well his love letter to Satan is written. He speaks of draining the waters of Styx, the only barrier between our world and the land of the dead while extinguishing all of the stars leaving the world in darkness as chaos reigns upon the earth. He basically describes the end of the world as a beautiful thing in the name of Luficer. And again musically the perfomance is fantastic from the heavy force of the percussion and strings matched only by Nergals voice and the twisted melodies running rampant throughout.

The symbolism in this video is intense. The representation of "Satanic" or Luciferian figures throughout different cultures, interacting spiritually, is wonderful, although I'm unsure on the recognition of some of them. I recognise Prometheus and Odin, but the woman is perhaps Oya from the Orishas? And I would guess that Orion is supposed to be Iblis, Ahriman, or perhaps Satan himself?

"Satan himself?" I don't believe that satan is one person. It just comes from a Greek word satanas, and it means something like hostile opponent or adversary. Christ himself said to Peter, "get behind be satan." So, there are many satans.

I've listened to this song a number of times in the past. It's not my favourite from this album, but I've always liked it, especially because of the spoken ending. I hadn’t heard much Behemoth in my years of listening music. This popped up in my feed and I finally got to listen this masterpiece. Although this kind of soundscape never reached me beyond a curious listen, this song moved something in me. This goes to my panthenon (heh) as one of the greatest metal songs.
