Yes I noticed how awesome their make up is especially the lead singer The fallen angel with black wings.The very intro grabbed me which sounded like a course of fallen Angels/demons singing I'm the backup .This inspires me to want to commit to learning how to play guitar going through all the tedious beginning chords just to get good enough to play this song..I will even look online to find a cool Behemoth black T shirt...Has to be black of course ! I hope they come the the North East or South East of the USA.Will definitely be thrilled to see them live.And their live version sounds superb!

I got to see them play this live as an encore. One of the most moving things I've seen. All the moshing, head banging and usual you would see at a metal show stopped and everyone just stood there in awe.

Been a metal fan all my life and been into death metal since its early beginings in the 90s. I liked Behemoth before but honstly never really thought of them as being aprticularly spectacular...until this album. The Satanist deserves to go down as a classic and is one of the absolute best albums of its genre without a doubt. They just didn't seem to pigion hole themselves with a particular sound that so many others do but simply went with whatever vibe they were looking for and it resulted in an album that is very original, without any apparent effort to sound super fast or super heavy but just themselves and it comes across with a wicked sincerity and authentic vibe .

I agree completely. I was never a huge Behemoth fan, but The Satanist blew me away. As you say, they aren't preoccupied with trying to fit a certain heavy mold, and it makes it all come across as incredibly genuine and, I think, a lot more mature than before. They seem to have real _conviction_ now. No doubt Nergal's struggles just prior shaped it a lot.

IMO, behemoth are one of the most easy listening metal bands. I say that, because they are less difficult to get into then other bands of the genre. Slower paced, easy to understand singing etc.
