My favorite band when i was 14 was Underoath (you may not consider them metal but i saw them when i was 15 and it was very heavy). I loved bands like job for a cowboy, as blood runs black, and Between the Buried and Me is still a band that I listen to regularly. I have heard everything from Black Sabbath to Opeth. So I didn't mean I have never listened to metal, I meant that it's not something I listen to daily. I feel like my heart lies with classic, folk, and psychedelic rock. But I have listened to a lot more metal than I sounded like I guess, my apologies.
