I'm still in my beginner stage because I can't play like I use to. My spine is messed up from the base of my skull down. I want to thank you for everything you do. To help all of us who want to learn guitar . The Who ,the Beatles are my to favorite bands. I have the Beatles song book with over 120 songs in it. Players like myself enjoy playing but sometimes it's hard to get the chords right. So I thank you again for your channel and may you be blessed for what you do.

Inspiring to read your post. I was frustrated for years with guitar, but after thousands of hours of practise it is becoming easy. Don't give up, the main thing is to have fun & enjoy making music. :)

Great lesson! The WHO is one of my favorite all time bands. Pete Townsend is one of the most under-rated guitar palyers of all time. When you think that there were only three of them playing on most of those songs (guitar, bass, & drums), it's really amazing that they were able to get that sound. I was lucky to see them in concert in 1969 playing their classic "Tommy" album, freaking amazing........................ :)

Probably the greatest musician/composer in the history of Rock and Roll. Not only did he write the vast majority of Who songs, but he also created fully fleshed-out demo albums where he played every instrument and sang every note. A lot of inflections that you would think Roger would've come up with were Pete's. The unique stylings of Entwistle's lead bass grooves and some of the drum fills can all be heard in Pete's demos. To think he created Tommy, Who's Next, Quadrophenia, and performed Live at Leeds, some of the greatest albums in the history of rock. Then think of all of the classic songs that weren't included in those collections. Who are You, Can't Explain, My Generation, I Can See For Miles, Substitute, The Kids are Alright, Squeeze Box, Pure and Easy, Eminence Front, You Better You Bet, The Seeker, Slip Kid. I can't think of a single rock musician who has done more. Now if you get into his solo and other collaborative work, you can really go down a rabbit hole.

yep no doubt first thing I ever learned right off the bat was how to arpregiate a full chord. that's the amazing part A lot of times many use what they call it gliss.. but was really neat is a fact that full chords just simply picked out sound so cool instead of strummed and no extra tricky fingering needed at all.. cool little mini lesson on this one enjoyed it I always like playing this song. what's really need though is to precision picking Pete has. he doesn't fingerpick this song he basically uses a pic kind of like trying to play Greg Lake stuff what seems like amazing fingerstyle was not just a super thick pic and amazing precision like trying to play from the beginning from ELP everybody thinks that was fingerstyle. it wasn't Greg was not a fingerstyle player he literally was just so precise and picking out each note just like Pete if you ever watch him play it's always why he has nothing but down pics especially on this song...
