Great episode, it would really be interesting if Erebor accompanied you in the destruction of Gudabad... Or help the Dunedain by getting the goblins off their back... And for you to claim the northern lands (Litash, M. Gram and Cardum) are settlements with large mines, a good place for the dwarf people... Finally a war with Ered Luin, a massacre of brothers. While it is true that the Dwarves of Khazad-dûm were allies of the Noldor elves, it could be canonical to retake the gray ports and return them. Maybe taking the blue mountains would also be a good conquest... There are many possibilities !!!

Great work taking the Northern war where it hurts, and good to see Erebor is also bashing orc skulls (maybe they are up for territorial exchanges?). Siege engines in bottlenecks are murderous, nice job utilizing them. Encouragement for trying figure painting, just don't pick a Lamenter marine or Eldar Harlequin (checkerboard patterns on curved surfaces are maddening!).

Thanks for the tip. I'll give an update on what the first character i paint will be when i start :)

I'd suggest sending an army to take Isengard regardless of the ring situation: great for income and recruiting, will take pressure off Rohan, and the AI factions will clean up most of the remaining armies for you. And from a roleplay perspective, it does technically border your realm at the base of the mountains.

Great Episode! You’re the sole reason Bree is so powerful.. 8100 for 20 turns literally funded their success! I really enjoy watching your campaigns, it’s a great escape! Thanks man!

Hello, my friend. A great episode, I thought the situation would be much worse. But you managed to get the very much needed reinforcements to Oin and now he is in quite a good position. Yamilaiello621 is speaking with my voice, it seems, as the campaign goes towards a weird completion of the Dwarven Grudge: claim Angmar as a whole and then wage war to Ered Luin and complete this line, holding the North and let the rest for the Dunedain. I suggest to give the last Goblin settlement to the Dunedain as a token of peace and friendship, because not only you don't need it, but also you'll give them a united front against Angmar, as you backstab the Iron Crown by invading to Morva Tarth, Mount Gram, Litash, Carn Dum andthe rest of the towns till you reach the Ered Luin territory. What a glory would it be if the elite stack with Balin leads the fights against the Witch King!.. Oin, from the other side, must get rid of Burzakul and march till Framsburg, while you give Wrakyaburg to the Vale and have a steady frontier along the Anduin. Thus, by the time you'll go at war with Ered Luin, you'll have smashed everything else. Economy is back at its feet, your armies will very soon be entirely unbeatable, so you only have to march to war. Don't forget that you have the Hall of the Seven, thus the Axeguard of Erebor can be retrained in Khazad-dum! And reiforce as soon as possible the garrison in Buzra-dum, because I'm pretty sure that Grindfarn will attack. And now, we have good material for a good episode today: Oin's gamble paid off. There was no Orc between them and Gundabad and the armies took their feet south. Even Oin could not believe his luck. "If the fire burns everything, only then shall hope light up again!", he murmured as he guided the tired army to the feet of the Mountain of Durin. And the siege was prepared. Ghurzog didn't wait for too long. His hopes had been betrayed, as he watched the Dwarven army march broken but unyielding to his gates, while the other Orc camps preferred to stay away... He then stayed within his doors and let the Dwarfs come in. He knew, of course, that the dreaded Dwarven catapults were right there and he had no hope to resist. Thus, the fight had to begin only after the gates were down. Well, yes it did, with the Orcs attacking right before the Dwarfs were in a battle line to storm in. Oin, from his part, formed a battle line behind the gates, not exactly what he wanted, but there was space between the gate and the Dwarfs. That was the chance, Ghurzog thought, and with everything he could get he formed a big blob that pushed outwards. However, the catapult commander was one of the Ered Luin Dwarfs, trained after the likes of Gurin. And he was a very competent commander, seeing the blob of the Orcs right where it was formed. The grapeshots were so devastating when they came, that within minutes three out of four Orcs were dead. Many Dwarfs saw Ghurzog hit by a grapeshot and his head, his right hand and both his feet been blown away by a single shot... That was the time when the Orcs broke, with the cavalry following them and massacring even under the gate. "Heyo, my Lord!", Borin greeted Oin after the battle. "I was looking around after we got Gundabad. The Hall of Awakening is exactly there, awaiting for us to restore it". "That's very good!", Oin greeted. "We have to get to work immediately. But wait... If we are to restore the Hall, it should be the most glorious of all times. It's Durin, after all! And I think nobody remembers how it was". "But for one", Borin said. "We have passed long years reading the traditions. And my cousin Broin is a mason. Shall we write to him to come and supervise the works?". "What a wonderful idea!", Oin said after some time. "He is really capable, especially after the glory of Khazad-dum, which he restored fully. Yes, I'll write to him personally. But how he has the knowledge?". "He found a book in the Hall of Mazarbul", Borin said. "Few remain that can read those ancient runes, but we can, as we were taught by our uncle. Broin can do the job very well and in that book there is the Hall of Durin as it was. For him, it's an easy job". "Perfect!", Oin said. "I'll write to him in person. But...", Oin looked suspicious at the parcel the guard besides Borin was holding. "What you have there?". Borin uncovered a very precious hammer, with gold and silver decorations on the shaft, long as the height of a Dwarf. In front there was a spiked hammerhead, behind a spike and another spike on top. Shiny it was, albeit there were some signs of rust and it needed some work. Oin took it on his hands and swinged it for a while. "I've heard only rumours of it", he said with a voice that broke from his sentiments. "I can't believe in my eyes that it is exactly this hammer...". "It needs work", Borin said. "Logical, after all these years sealed... And the filthy Orcs have left their mark. But by your order, the Hammer of Durin will come back to life, in your hands". Oin simply nodded, as the sentiments were so strong, that he could not even speak. Balin got in Khazad-dum West through the Door of Holin, but he didn't receive the welcome he imagined. Dark were the faces that greeted him and he got in the chamber of the governor to ask what on Earth was happening. However, Gurin got first. "My King", he said. "If my heart was not so broken, I would be very happy to see you again". "Can someone tell me what is going on?", Balin said. "We are winning everywhere, Oin is in Gundabad and he asked Broin for the restoration of the Hall of Awakening, for which I gave my permission. We should celebrate by now". "Grindfarn finally imposed his will", Gurin whispered. "He asked us to help him attack against the High Elfs". Balin only whispered a "What?!..". "Gor attacked against Mithlond right as the Elfs reclaimed their home", Gurin continued. "He then asked our help against the Elfs. Needless to say we denied". "You did well", Balin's face was now clod and decisive. "We shall not attack our dear allies! What on Earth! That's work of Sauron". "And I can say to you that many of our kin run in exile", Gurin said. "Yesterday two of my friends back in Ered Luin, who didn't join me when I came first, were found roaming in here without food. I took them with me to help me with the works and they told me that they were exiled and Gridfarn's pawns want their heads. Grein has accepted other refugees of this kind that made the dangerous journey from Ered Luin down to Buzra-dum. Unfortunately, my Lord, the situation cannot be redeemed. Grindfarn took over the power and the Clanlord succumbed to his will". "I understand very well", Balin said. "But the decision to take arms upon our brethren is too dire to take it so easily. I'll ask the councel of Dain". "I understand well, my King", Gurin said. "It's the right thing to do. But I have to say that you'll find more support than what you think if you finally decide to take the arms against the filthy Gridfarn and his pawns".
