That is the result of America being a very materialistic country focusing only on the needs of the individual. There is no family unit, no real compromise between partners, meaningless marriage vowels. Divorce rates at 60% as wlel.

This is an amazing story. I listened to it on Spotify. He is a true hero. Just listening to the fact that he said home health came by 3 times per week and the rest of the time, his wife was cleaning his tracheotomy multiple times per day and grinding his food and meds around the clock infuriates me. Our servicemen should have around the clock care at Walter Reed, then at home. 24 hours per day for as long as it takes. It is despicable how our servicemen and women are treated.
@xPhantomxify Жыл бұрын
It is despicable that it happens, but why is it still happening if it is so despicable? Maybe people don't truly appreciate their services after all and it's just empty platitudes like "thank you for your service"

Brings me to tears this story. I couldn’t imagine being severely injured and having my wife leave me. That’s the total definition of life being not fair and cruel. And I know his feeling, when me and my wife are having a great day I feel invincible. When we fight it throws my whole day off and ruins it. That’s awesome that she was super supportive

Stop the empty platitudes. You don't know him, nor do you care what he did in some foreign country. You only feel a little sorry for what happened to his face. If this country truly cared for veterans, they would be treated as kings. Instead, this country leaves them wandering the streets as homeless people, struggling with PTSD and drug addiction. That is how much this country and the people care about their service.

Love what your doing for our Veterans. They deserve so much more than what our government fails at and it’s strong Americans like you who are picking up their slack by giving them a voice. Jason, wow what a story and his wife deserves a medal for everything she’s done and for standing by you and supporting you. A true American hero!!
@xPhantomxify Жыл бұрын
A government is supported by the people. If these veterans deserve so much more, why is it not happening? What have you done personally to support veterans? The answer is nothing, so don't bother coming up with something.
@xPhantomxify Жыл бұрын
The real honest truth is that people don't care about veterans. They are simply a display of power against other nations, something to feed children with. When people say "thank you for your service", it is just empty platitudes.

Jon, great show as always. I'm proud to say that I'm sitting at my desk, in my man-cave and directly to my right is an autographed pic of you from the Walking Dead days. You signed it directly to me and thanked me for my service. A shipmate of mine attended one of the Walking Dead conventions and asked you to sign a pic for me, you did not hesitate and I thank you for that, it means more to me than you can imagine. I was injured during my Afghanistan tour of duty while doing training exercises. I stayed in a medical hold status for a little over two years once I came back. I'm medically retired now and enjoying everyday with my family though I do have my bad days. God bless you and all of our military. Over, Navy Mark...

I’m newly married, just over 6 months, but my wife and I dated on and off for about a decade previously. I couldn’t imagine the sense of relief this man felt when there was zero hesitation in his wife when she saw him. The feeling of security and love in that moment must have been absolutely overwhelming. Just the thought of it is making me teary eyed at work. I know my wife would do the same but I’m a bitch at a desk lol this will never happen to me
