Luka is a relaxed yet clever cat. I love Amur Leopard, very rare in the wild unfortunately. So I adopted Amur Leopard with WWF many years ago because of very small number only 25 or so at the time! I could cry for them so few left in the wild. Such big cats should be able to live free in the wild peacefully however their survival must be hard, never be seen by people. We must not be curious or hunt them. But thanks to the rangers and education for the local people by WWF, numbers up to about 100 in several years!! I'd like to see Luka and Leia close up at The Sanctuary one day soon. And reintroduction to the wild may be done, I hope.

I went to a big cat rehab centre in Primorsky Krai, Far East Russia, in 2019. They’d got one of these cats in the centre - because an injured leg was impairing his ability to hunt. Magnificent animal, even though the walkway was suspended 20ft above the enclosures! Not an experience I’ll forget in a hurry 😊

Do you try to teach this to all your other cat residents?

They are gorgeous & amazing to watch but I sure wish you guys would tone down that repetitive "music" somewhat -- d--- it gets louder at 6:37 & again at 7:18! And the reason for that being....?? Love to watch but had to leave -- my brain cells are being tortured.

Do we really NEED background muzak that's very distracting to the commentary ?
@kristjanvaldimarsson48268 ай бұрын
You are destroying the video with loud music. Let natural sound prevail.

Thank you. I just now commented about this also -- it's too loud & repetitively annoying. But it looks like these people do not respond to ANYONE, even if a person has a question.

Pity about the irritating music!

Leopard not to be train they're wild animals not pets

You don't understand the point obviously! 1st of all there are ONLY 100 or less alive in the wild - that is critically low. That means very soon they will be extinct. 2nd of all they are NOT being kept as pets, they are here so they can be kept healthy & breed in order to raise their numbers & will be released back into the wild to INCREASE their numbers. The "training" is so they can get health checks & have blood taken to keep them healthy. They can then be released back into the wild. They are NOT being trained like a circus animal. Wake up & do some reading so you'll learn about what's going on.
