This was an original except from a Southern Television broadcast from 5th november 1970. Slightly edited with some classic moments from the film added in for some extra fun!

Love the way the interviewer is uptight and serious and the carry on stars are playing it for laughs and sending themselves up, that’s why they have endured and the films are still very popular today .

Huge Carry on fan from Australia. The cast have been so generous over the many years. Wonderful letters from those actors l sent fan to over the past 30 years. Would have been wonderful to be around Pinewood St 60/70's!

As a 17 yr old I got the chance to visit the set just after starting work at Brunel University during October 1970. During a break in filming we were allowed to wander onto the set were we chatted with Terry Scott, Kenneth Williams,Joan Sims and Sid James. A Day I'll never forgot - just wished I had a camera, I couldn't beleive I was mingling with the stars from a carry on series - nearly as good as getting to work on 'A Clockwork Orange'....but thats a story for another time.

The films were cheap in every way,but by lord it just worked in every way, they were funny, they were entertaining and they also give us a great look into our recent past when the permissive society was just beginning, and the cast were extraordinary characters in every way possible, eccentric beyond words mostly all of them

I know his history with kids from different women, but I love Sid. He was great in Hancock's Half Hour and in the Carry On's. He died at 62 but lived life to the full. That dirty laugh is legendary.
