I don't know whether the contrast between the tenor's Reconstructed Classical Latin pronunciation and the chorus' Ecclesiastical one is intentional, however it is dulcet. Thank you, Mr Tin for your great work! *Bravissimo!*

I was there during the live stream and when "the curtains unfolded" I swear it's the most epic opera I've ever heard. And the cinematography of the video was excellent as well. Honestly, Christopher Tin never disappoints.

I met Christopher Tin through the game Civilization IV with the song "Baba Yetu '' and since then I became a fan of it right away. I consider" Baba Yetu '' and '' Sogno Di Volare "the best game themes ever made. (If my English not correct, don't blame me, blame Google Translate) :-/

Is there a reason why Daedalus sings in classical Latin and the chorus sing in ecclesiastical Latin?

It’s just a dramatic device... a way to differentiate Daedalus, who is a character inside a play set in antiquity, from the Greek chorus, who are a dramatic body who comment on the action from some point later in time.
