I have never experienced the chills this performance gives me before the first time I listened. Every time I listen they come. After studying music for years at a Conservatorium in TAS Australia and losing passion in music its performances like this that remind me why I love music so much.

Absolutely stoked to stumble upon this. Im so happy there is still music being composed like this. If this was a painting it would be like unto the Mona Lisa.

Excuse, me, what kind of languid-ass applause was that?! I just sat through a revelatory experience that may have changed me for the better, and the audience is just like: "🧐 well wasn't that nice" REALLY!?

There is somethings so beautiful about the ending. How we have colonized space but instead of some futuristic techno music we have simple yet beautiful vocals from the birthplace of humanity.
There was something incredibly joyous here. Couldn't help but smile while watching it.

One Day, maybe not for another 100 or 200 years, we are going to traveling the galaxy in colony ships across the universe. The human spirit, to persevere, innovate, to achieve, and to fly will never be extinguished.

Thank you Mr Christopher Tin for this awesome song. My first time hearing this song when I played Civilization 4, and to this date I think this is still the best song for Civilization. I don't know if you are religious or not, but this song also singed by my church choir recently in Indonesia. Thank you for your gift for the world 🙏

From what I can gather, the starship shown in the last scene is either A: capable of Faster-Than-Light travel or B: is a generation ship sent to another star system, and the ship crashed, so the survivors drew it on the wall of a cave to not forget their origins

this piece never fails to give me chills. the lyrics, the orchestration, the *depth* of the music is unspeakably beautiful. I love that in this day and age, through pieces like this, we are giving a stage to other languages and cultures, broadening the traditional ideas of classical music which focused on only a few European languages. even without understanding the language of this piece, its emotion and joy are easily felt, by any person in the world. extremely well-written and performed, thank you for posting this on youtube for all to experience for free <3

This piece is really beautiful. The words are delicate and used with wisdom; the musical composition is the work of a maestro and the voices...the singing... Gosh. celestial!!!
