To all the naysayers, the average days a vehicle sits on the lot before it is sold is around 72 days. Right now the Trailblazer is averaging 34 days, and GM has said it is selling at twice the pace they expected. The rear shelf has two levels. You have it on the highest position, it can drop down about 2.7" in its lower setting. While you're doing that, lift up the spare tire and observe the very cool subwoofer.

Spencer D I had a babied 96 Blazer that self destructed after 75k miles. It was no better than a CRV off road and not as good as a 1st Gen RAV4 off road. The Blazer got better toward the late 90s.

There is a certain type of person that would usually buy them and never maintain them just run drugs and steal stuff then end up in a junkyard. Haha

I own a Chevy Blazer RS and for the time of a routine maintenance on my vehicule they have let me drive a brand new Trailblazer so I can drive around for a couple of hours and…. that vehicule is a nice one and fun to drive. Very comfy and well equipped. If I had to recommend a small SUV this one would be the winner !

This thing has no place in the market. No true off-road capabilities. Light off-roaders will pick up the Crosstrek, RAV4 or CRV (most of which are less expensive..)Heavy off-roaders will go for the Jeep or Bronco (which eats this thing for breakfast). Chevy has failed to create any value in this model, and its sad, as they had a lot of potential to really knock it out of the park.

Design wise, I don't think it's hideous. People need to stop being hung up on the name of a vehicle. The S10 Blazer was no K5 and the average driver will see nothing rougher than a gravel driveway, let alone an off road trail. Those who truly offroad will not keep the vehicle stock anyways do it doesn't matter how it comes from the factory. I'm not really a fan of GM styling, many like it but my biggest beef is how they make everything to have similar design features. You say it's like a mini Camaro or mini Blazer. If I want a car to look like a Blazer I'll buy a Blazer. I am surprised it doesn't have the "alphabet soup letters" for the name on the door like their entire lineup. Love it or hate it, just my opinion.

I don’t really have that much of an issue with them using the Blazer and Trailblazer name plates for CUVs however I think if they had named the Trailblazer Cavalier and the Blazer Beretta for example they would have gotten a LOT less criticism. I will say that they may have missed an opportunity and didn’t foresee Ford bringing back the Bronco and when Ford announced it Chevy was too far into the development of the new Blazers to switch it up.
