@@tiamod Well, Steve has mostly voiced Advent Children Cloud. Cody is voicing og Cloud. And Cody sounds like a younger version of Steve. So Cody is one of the recasts that were really easy to accept. Then for Tifa, Aerith, Barret, and Red-XIII, as good as the OGs were, the Remake VAs just blow them out of the water.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the fact that Haley Joel Osment has stuck with this franchise, and us fans as the English voice of Sora throughout almost every game that Sora appears in (except for maybe BBS?)? That's some great dedication! Especially for a video game franchise, and one that has spanned multiple consoles over the years! I know other voice actors have stuck with their characters over the years as well, and they're awesome too! But given that Sora is the main character throughout the bulk of the franchise, and the same voice actor has voiced him since the beginning is just...wow!

I don't know how old they were at that time but considering Haley as a child in Kingdom Hearts 1 and then them as teenagers, they did a better job than the actors and actresses of today who only force their voices, whether as a man or as a woman and they end up being cringe asf

And that RIP even applies to the FF7 characters since in FF7R they replaced all the voice actors. I’m not mad about it though, the new VA’s are great but it’s a bit unfortunate. As for in KH, hope KH4 is chock-full of FF characters!!
