Honestly the pattern with troubled child actors seems to be working on Disney or Nick shows. Tetsuya Nomura did not say it will wrap up the series? He has said on record that kh4 with be like an entry point for new players and that kh4 is not the end. He HAS stated that he does have the end of kingdom hearts in mind and has said that for years. But we are getting more kingdom hearts games past kh4 and even if sora stops being the protagonist after kh4 he did leave so many different points for new stories with the other characters that the series could potentially last another 5-10 years before finally being put to rest. And Nomura retiring doesnt mean that kingdom hearts is ending at the same time, the entire team behind the kh games arent going anywhere anytime soon

A lot of years? He's 53 soon to be 54. Considering the average development time of a Kingdom Hearts game, as well as Square's track record for delays; if Nomura plans to end this series and retire soon we may not be waiting long.

KH3 was the exception, not the rule, as it was the only game where they switched engines midway through development, but even then it only took 5 years. They've currently only been working on KH4 for just over 2 years as it was barely in production when they revealed it.

Well to be fair, he can in Japan as Sonic and nearly every other character has had the same Japanese VA since Sonic Adventure all the way up till Frontiers. Sega of America just has no regard for their voice talent. Disney on the other hand is VERY good about keeping consistency with their characters because they know how vital it is for a character to sound how you remember them. (That said the current English voice of Sonic has been doing it for nearly 15 years now.)

On Square Enix's development computers and (hopefully) their software repository. It's still being worked on as games take a while to be made now these days (hence why the multi-studio approach works best for bigger publishers now these days instead of the "shuffle around employees to work on different projects on the fly" approach that Bandai Namco does so more games can be released to generate more revenue).
