They should talk lightbulbs on qi. It seens that, with the old type of bulb with a light thread (or whatever it's called in english) the companies that were competing to make the best bulb realised that if they were too good they wouldn't sell many... so they agreed on a lifespan of a bulb = no competition on that. This was a well kept secret since it is illegal to do this. So those bulbs had a very limited lifespan. I read that in a newspaper with good standing. I do hope it is not a myth... QI might investigate!

I know people who do like and will go to her shows but even they, think that maybe panel shows are not for her, me personally I would agree. No one can from Rosie for what she has achieved despite having cerebral palsy, from writing for various panel shows to tv shows and presenting other shows and of doing stand up but the thing is the stand up gigs people pay to go and see her sense of humour and the tv presenting catered for mainly for people with a disability.

@@frolickinglionsI know, right? "Despite" and "even they" as if people are speaking for the whole audience, when in reality she's extremely witty and everyone who works with her (ie the best comedians in the country) love her comedy. Some people online who don't like her because they're used to the exact same rhythm and demographic telling the jokes is exactly the same as people saying women weren't funny or foreigners weren't funny twenty years ago and it's really bloody grating and outdated. If you don't like her, don't watch her, sure, or maybe just develop some awareness that your dislike isn't because she's not great but because you have internalised unresolved ableism pushed upon you by a society who prefers disabled people or those with any divergence from the "norm" to be hidden away out of view and out of mind.
