I came to the U.S. from Nigeria in early 2,000s. Didn’t know a thing about football. Went to college in NYC then started following the Giants right after a Eli was drafted. I have watched every Giants game since then mostly on TV but also at the stadium. Eli is the only Giants QB I’ve ever known. I will miss seeing Eli out there. Was one of the guys that defended Eli at every turn, and always will. The underdog that won twice! Special player. Great human being! Make him the GM within 10 years! He’ll do good in that capacity.

What a great video. Outstanding work by the Giants video & media group. Like Mr Mara said, today was a sad day but also a celebratory one as we can reflect on the closing of a wonderful career. Frankly, I dkn’t know how Eli kept it together. I got all worked up just watching the press conference on my phone. It’s amazing seeing all the great old Giants players and coaches. It’s a treat to see all the behind-the-scenes stuff. We forget that there are a lot of unsung heroes working in the background to make this team work and function. I’m biased but this is the best team and organization in football. We all bleed Blue. Thanks Eli and thanks to all Giants for bringing us Giants football and our 2 latest Super Bowls. Eli is a class act and hope he becomes part if the organization so he can celebrate when Danny Dimes & Saquon bring another Lombardi trophy or two back to Metlife stadium. Go Giants!
