Charlie, thanks for the shoutout! Yes, it's really not you, but that stupid rake... Anyway, thanks for doing this interview it was very enlightening. I feel like the rake was holding you back. I had no idea that my 'rake protest' actually reached you. To be honest, I started it as a trolling, but it became a thing. The reddit stuff got really crude and I tapped out. I work as a city bus driver and I take enough abuse from strangers all day. Anyway, thanks again for the shout out and the opportunity to see you in a different light.

I think I remember reading one of your comments in their videos, and I could tell you were trolling 🤣 I think it's perfect because he gets a taste of his own medicine, in a funny way, not negative lol. But, I'm glad you also said your side and didn't freak out on him for shouting you out etc. Anyway, much love!

You guys hit the nail right on the head when it comes to training. Here in my part of Iowa, there is very little public land. Most of the land where I'm at is either corn fields or soybean fields. The largest plot of public land not far from me is about 230 acres. But is so over used, it's hard to shoot out there. The only other public land is about 45mins away from me and it's 2.3 acres. We don't even have free camping around here. It's all parks. So yeah, it sucks.

One thing about the arkansas/Texans not training as much is, I own 80 acres out here in arkasas. I train all the time using all three of your guys videos and advice for methods. But I don't have to leave or go to a class, I call my buddies and set up a time and we train at least once a month. Or i go out by myself and train for a couple hours. So about the training, I'd never taken an actual class until I was 23 for a CCW, but when I was like 13 or 14 my family taught me gun safety and the RSOs were really decent and not full of it like they are now. So maybe you don't see full training classes in southern states like Texas, but I guarantee family members train them themselves. I was target shooting that young but never had an actual course that the range provided with a fee, so maybe that's more the culture of these states

The window of weather for training is much smaller in the Midwest. It's much hotter in the summer and colder in the winter. On the west coast, the weather is not as extreme. Also, a lot of us are blessed with our own ranges or friends that have farmland to shoot on. Chris, Honest Outlaw, for example, his biggest complaint is always weather, too damn hot or cold.
