The Isle Of Man TT is probably the most underrated sport in the world. There's no sport, which requires bigger balls than the TT.

Yeah, it’s awesome, although I’d put the solo climbing guys up there. No ropes, one wrong move means definite death. Takes the same kind of ball, maybe even more.

@@Jimmie92 it used to be the same thing, until the boycott. Then read had the nerve to come back for money after trying to get rid of it over safety. Multiple grand prix world champion Hailwood returned and pulled the fans back with him to save the tt. Its fair to compare how they've evolved apart from being part of the same thing 40 years ago.

Well if this is the future for British Motorcycle racing I'm not at all surprised. I feel I am more than qualified to comment after fifty years of TT and Manx, but I have now had enough of the increasing rudeness, and as I have retired my pockets are now not deep enough to meet greed of so many involved In Manx tourism. The Isle of Man Steam Racket Co tried to screw me for £940.00 return for my small Peugeot Partner van with my Cammy Velo and me in, not to be defeated I decided to fly, and drive with a car hire from Europcar at Ronaldsway, an on line quote of £3,800.00 for one week could not be correct, so I phoned and was quoted the same by a very rude person who informed me they were very short of cars, and if I did not hire plenty of people from America and Canada would. As I pack up to leave promising myself never to return, [ I cant afford to] a very well known Hotel in Castletown has just put there 2019 room rates online. I hope you guys and girls have deep pockets and are not on a pension, because even when I was working £500.00 a night was right out of my league. No sour grapes in my comment, but I fear the end is nigh for the Island, and now its down to the likes of the VMCC to breath new life new interest at a new venue and hopefully put Motorcycling back where it should be in recovery. I have done all I can do, and after fifty years in the industry, I do not want to see the passing of a sport that has given me a lifetime of pleasure
