As a member of the LGBTQ+ community: I agree! Reducing Elton, a wonderful person who went through so much, to his sexuality and expecting the film to be all about that in consequence is so wrong. Besides, for the time that the film is set in, it's actually a very accurate portrayal of the ''gay experience''. Allround remarkable wonderful film. In all aspects.

@Adam Efimoff no offense but I'd hope people aren't watching rocketman for a full picture of the LGBT community, as it's about one specific and important guy from the community. I found my experience in some struggles with being gay to be accurately portrayed in the film. Comparing this film to works that happen to be about being gay that it has little in common with reduces this movie to Elton's sexuality which it is only a part of the man.

Love that Elton basically made sure the film didn't shy away from the shittier aspects of his life or be a slave to his music. Biggest wraps for me were for Dexter Fletcher. This is a superb film and full of energy and creativity. Imagine what Bohemian Rhapsody could have been with him directing it all and not just finishing it. @Adam Efimoff I think a drama would have shifted the way you think about Elton John. Yes all of this happened. Yes, those are serious issues that can have a lasting,severe, negative impact on a person. But Elton John is not a drug addict. He is a married ma, a father of two children, a beloved musician and has been one for decades. There is so much love and healing in the present, his past shouldn't overshadow the viewers perception of him.

@sashahoward77605 жыл бұрын
@@indianajones1433 there are naked chests and legs, (like, legs wrapping around legs, it's steamy, but brief scene) but I don't remember any butts or other goods. I saw it with my mom and they stopped right at the edge of me wanting to shield her eyes lol. The camera pans away once they hit the bed. Sex is implied several other times (like a dude lifting his head up from another dude's crotch area) but you don't see anything. I'd say the sex was closer to a PG13 but the substance use is an easy R. If your parents know what to expect and aren't uptight, I'd say you'll only be moderately uncomfortable haha.

The choreography for Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting reminded me of the dance sequence in the 2012 London Olympics directed by Danny Boyle, when a crowd scene danced through several periods of British music. Loved the 2-Tone bit of that in Rocketman. Its total irrelevance to the actual song showed me what the musical fantasy aspect was going to be about - taking adventurous liberties!

Guess what I did recently? I went and saw Rocketman Tuesday night and I was blown away by this movie! Go see it now everyone.I wouldn't recommend taking the younger kids to see the movie because it's got very intense and very inappropriate things that I don't think that kids who ranges from ages 20 and under would want to see in a movie because it's rated R.I highly recommend that people who are 20 years or older to go see this movie for yourselves with you family and friends who are 20 years or older because it's rated R and that's the perfect age range for this movie and believe me you'll be blown away too by this movie it's incredible.

Seen it and it was awesome! Love the sweeping them from their feet at the beginning! Tiny Dancer at the house was a great seen. I will see this again
