Behind The Servants: Murasaki Shikibu and Sei Shonagon

I got to read the Tale of Genji for a class several years ago- the whole class was just that book. The professor said Murasaki's name (Murasaki) was just dumped on her from one of the leading ladies of the Tale as a joke by some guy. So like Sei, we don't know her real name.

Thank you so much for this video! They're two of my favorite characters EVER in F/GO and I simply LOVE the way they were portrayed in the game (Murasaki was actually the character that made me start playing lol). I wish we could get more story chapters and events where they get to interact because they have such a fun dynamic and actually KNEW each other irl so it makes everything more precious. Already got Murasaki at NP2 on NA and am anxiously waiting for Sei to come home next year and join her best frenemy!

A little late to the video but thank you for telling more about their lore. Sei Shonagon is the motive I started playing Fate Grand Order (more for the funny switch girl memes) and got Murasaki during her event this year and I absolutely loved her. I will go after Shonagon next year and I hope I get her because it was a really long wait.

Merry Christmas to you and a Happy New Year's. Thank you for making this video of these two ladies. I have always held a great appreciation and fondness for storytellers, both of the oral tradition and the literary tradition. The ability to tell stories that can reach people from both across time and different continents is one of the greatest features of mankind. We are able to pass on life lessons and cultural values through the small Act of social interaction. To make a long story short, I think you did really great job with this video and I'm glad that I got to learn more about these two lovely ladies. If it's not too much trouble, then would you consider making a servant review on Scheherazade? She's honestly one of my favorite hero as she was able to save an entire Kingdom with nothing but the power of telling stories. True such a great accomplishment did take a heavy toll on her in the game, but I think that her accomplishments should at least be noted.

This was pretty good. I know this is late but Merry Chirstmas. If you go over Asterios and Europa that's be great cause they both are related to a Greecian Era figure that is talked about but never seen in the FGO community, King Minos of Crete.

i would LOVE if you did low rarity 1 star pirate Roberts, tho i am just one man, i love this pirate and have constant fights with my friend over him being a better support for a team than ushi: a three star rider (whos better for dmg)

Oh he's def a better support than Ushi for a quick/crit team. Ushi can work for some all around support but there are way better options than her if your looking for sup stuff. Roberts is on my doc for a future Pirate Episode!
