Irish while using most of the letters of the English alphabet doesn't have certain letters like v or w so it uses other letters in combination to make those sounds (bh=v) and the accent above letters means that letter's sound is elongated both of which are really confusing is you're not a native speaker

@@MurtODwyer but hach sounds like the same ch as German ich. Which itself has a wide range of pronunciation (so I'd give foreigners a break when trying to pronounce Gaelic. Unless they are a priest because real priests should be able to pronounce and honour the gods of any people they interact with if they are genuine but that's as rare as meeting an actual psychic)

Scathach's lore sadly didn't give me much when I was googling info about her (I wanted to include a bit of Ulster Cycle references into my story, the Hermit character being the Scathach representative), this video was quite helpful. :)

By any chance, have you done a video on Eric the Bloodaxe? I know he's pretty much nearly forgotten now in fgo, but given the fact that he was the first Viking servant we got in the game, I think at least deserves a shout-out. Plus I know if you do it, we will get to learn more about him both from a history sense and from the Fate lore.

@@klidge Oh my dear Lord, thank you so much. I'm so happy to hear enough the only one who feels that Eric the Bloodaxe was done dirty. Bro deserves better, especially since he has a crazy wifey that's literally using magic to control him. I'm so curious why the Delight works and aniplex have yet to release her. Anyway it would be interesting if he was chosen to be the Grand Berserker. Given the fact that Berserker is a class of warrior types in Viking culture that would wear the skins of wild animals and go "berserk" on the battlefield, it would make sense for the Viking king to take on such a title, especially if the Viking king was credited for being the leader of these Berserker Warriors. Now I would like to make at least one mention, I have no idea if Eric the Bloodaxe is credited for being the leader of the Berserkers, but I wouldn't be surprised if this connection was used did justify him being the Grand Berserker. Although I wouldn't be surprised either if they happen to choose Cain, Adam and Eve's for son, as the Grand Bazaar corsense he's technically credited for being the first murderer of mankind. Unfortunately, only time will be able to tell us in the future. Speaking of grand servants, I don't mean to ask this in spoiler contacts, but did you hear who they chose for the rider class, thanks to Arcade?

@@klidge I feel the same way. I felt like Noah and Nero should have been two separate individuals. But nonetheless, I too am very happy they chose the savior of humanity from the great floods as the Grand Rider servant. He's perfect for the job, especially since there's no one else in the entire world who can lay claim to an act that is greater than what he did. Although I must admit, my friend and I we're under the impression that he would enter the Savior class due to the fact that class is full of Messiah. Anyway, I hope you don't mind me asking this, but who do you think is a worthy candidate for the Grand Saber? My choices for possible candidates would be the female Miyamoto Musashi, or King Arthur Pendragon. The reason why I think it could be either one of these two is due to their accomplishments. Miyamoto Musashi, the girl, was able to do something that not even her male counterpart could do and that was to reach the void. There has never been another saber who's been able to accomplish what she has done. ( spoiler warning for Arthur Pendragon's interlude) As for my reasons for King Arthur, he stated in his interlude that he had actually faced the sixth Beast of Calamity twice and he just needs to defeat that one more time before he can go back home. Keep in mind, he said he defeated the Sixth Beast of Calamity by himself with Excalibur, which is the most powerful weapons in history. If that doesn't scream Grand Saber material, than I don't know what will. Although considering the fact that the third piece of Calamity was split into two halves with Kiara and Kama, then it is quite possible that both Miyamoto Musashi, the female verison and King Arthur Pendragon could possibly share the title of Grand Saber. That would be cool

Eh, I'm pretty disappointed in how they merged Scathach and Skadi together, especially how they try to portray Skadi. I interpret Skadi is closer to Scathach in personality, than the motherly magic ice-bride persona Fate tries to sell. She's a hunter, fighter, survivalist and skier, she was ready to fight for her father's death as you mentioned, her mountain home is a famously harsh and scary environment that served as one reason why Njord ended up divorcing her. The Aesir had to end up tricking her into marrying her husband too, she wasn't this desirable bride of the gods that people were fighting over, that's Freya. But I could tell they hammed up the ice-bride thing for waifu reasons which is just such a huge missed opportunity.

I'm more surprised you been avoiding the obvious ones given fate is literally centered around them. You may as well do Arthur and artoria cause well nasu had his heart set on Arthur originally but was settled with artoria who has become the mascot for this franchise even though she's not the main focus of all the stories yet somehow the Arthurian myth impacts everything fate more than other mythologies in fate which can feel a bit like favoritism at times
