Hey Coach Kaspa, I love your style of teaching en the way you presented this video. In my opinon, you shud be one of the best chess KZbinrs. Please, can you make another vidio on this defense, showing us how to play the main line with Na5?🙂

If knight takes.. u gotta take with ya King...
@castironlawnbunny11 ай бұрын
@@ceeneedlz3211f7 is covered by the bishop. He said that three errors are Bxb5, dxc6, and Nxf7. The video covers the first two but not the third. When I tried this on lichess, my first opponent played Nxf7, forking the rook and queen. I moved the queen to safety. White took the rook and I took the bishop. His knight was trapped in the corner and after many moves I was able to take it with the other rook. It took a long time but eventually it was a bad trade for white, my rook against their bishop and knight. I imagine that the knight fork would be a very popular response in this opening.

@@castironlawnbunny No it isn't covered by the bishop: The pawn on d5 is in the way. If 6.Nf7: Kf7: 6.dc:+ bc: Black is up a piece!

I may be missing something but Looks to me like pawn to H3 should be met with rook to h4. You can just take the pawn checkmate and there are only three responses by white to prevent the immediate mate. One of them- pawn to d4 only delays the inevitable. After bishop takes pawn white bishop to e3, rook takes h3 check, king escapes to g1, bishop takes e3 check, queen takes e3, queen takes g2 mate… So there are only two responses. (3 if king moves like to H2 or something) Queen or rook to f3 but after advancing the e pawn and forcing the piece to g3 the threat of mate (in the event of queen to F3) returns and prevents queen from taking after the e pawn advanced again. White likely has to take the e pawn which opens up your H8 took to go d8 and threaten back rank mate. Bishop to d6 can also force the queen back to f3 and I have a feeling there are too many possibilities here to not deliver a mate but I could be wrong. I think you could build from that position and I don’t think it’s time to lay off the attack on the king. This feels like a chess puzzle to find checkmate and I think it’s there… I cant wait to put this into stock fish and see if white can stop mate.

There's a flaw at minute 5:34 ... White queen can take black queen when black rook moves and that will pretty much spoil the show.

Hello Abdullah, I appreciate your concern. To make this video more attention-grabbing and brief, I purposefully left those kinds of uncommon variations out. This video would become lengthier than usual if those rare variations were added back, which would get relatively few views. However, you can still view the full version of this video by clicking the link below to visit my Patreon page: www.patreon.com/kaspachess/ By the way, Nxf7 is a blunder by White as it only loses a free piece. Our King can just recapture White's Knight on f7, and after pawn to d6, a discovery check by White's Bishop, we'll simply play cxb4, winning a full Bishop
