The Xenyx and Eurodesk mixers are both great quality at a cheap price. The one thing this particular 1204 model doesn't have and which is very important to me would be channel inserts. Since they've set this up as a recording mixer, I think the lack of channel inserts was thoughtless. On the other hand, the built-in compressors may be adequate enough for some people, especially those just using it for voice-over work. If you want a similar board with inserts you can move up to the X1622USB.

Difference between X1204 and QX1204 ? All I can see so far is the QX has the usb mic input.

Hi, I'm newbie here for mixer. How I set the tempo again to the origin default coz I accidentally messed up. The manual book show delay effects default is 120bpm. So the question is when I tap on device which one I need to use? Is 1.2, 1.6, 2.0 or...? Hopefully your help. Thanks

Pardon my asking, I am new with this. On this X1204USB mixer, are the Aux sends balanced or unbalanced? I want to use a 1/4 to Y dual Male XLR to run both my powered subwoofers and connect to the Aux send. Will that work? Will I use TRS or TS 1/4 plug? Also, I want to connect floor monitors, will I connect them to the Control Room out or use the Alt 3-4. Thanks!

I need help!!!! I own the xenyx x1204usbfx. I host karaoke and dj with this mixer. I use the Phones/Control Room output for my booth monitor. For some reason if I use an effect on any channel, I cant here the effect through my Phones/Control Room Monitor output. I can hear everything except the effects. I could use the tape output but theres no control over the volume. Ive tried everything. Mono/Stereo plugs, Main mix button pressed others off and visa versa. Any help would be great. Thanks

Can anyone explain why my mic only works when the FX knob is turned up, all my other channels i can hear and are outputted with out turning the fx knob up, the fx knob adds some sort of echo or something, is there a way i can disable this or can someone help me on skype?

Thanks for the video! Btw, anyone has a guitar + mixer? I have a noobie question. My circuit : - guitar > pedal rack > DI input - DI thru > amp - DI out to mixer (behringer x1204 usb, just bought it a month ago and need help) I get a little signal on the mixer without the pedal board. When using it : nothing. Any idea?

Mr. Mouse Unfortunately its hard to troubleshoot without being there! But you could try a few things. If the rack unit had a direct out you could try just going direct into the desk using a 1/4inch jack to male XLR cable. Or if you have to use the DI, make sure there are no PAD switches engaged. On the desk, also make sure there are no pad switches engaged. Next, its best to use a channel on the desk that makes it possible to gain up the signal you're feeding into it, ie: the first four channels on the 1204. Play you guitar through the rack (so there's signal going into the desk) then turn the gain knob up, as you turn it up you should notice the LED display on the right hand side of the mixer lighting up. Do this until (with the master faders turned all the way down) until the LED's light up about 75%. We hope that helps.

Thanks alot for answering so quickly cranbournemusic. It does'nt seem like there is any PAD (maybe a bouton on the mixer : low cut), and i surely would like the DI box since it is suppose to enhance the guitar sound. I will try what you wrote!
