Behringer has come such a long way. These synths they have coming out with are ultra incredible. I am looking at getting this Nuetron, and after seeing this video, I am sold. So far, I have the TD3, RD6, RD8, Crave, and waiting patiently for the RD9.
@avrilcadabra3 жыл бұрын
I would very much like an RD-9, behringer products make it very easy to get into minimal or early style techno and acid (of course you can use them in modern styles too)

Tremendous work! I love your videos, they’re ever so playful and fun but also really informative. I bought a TD-3 last week and sent the CV/Gate outs to my Neutron which works amazingly well. That enables me to tweak the 303 and crank up the resonance while keeping the bottom end from the Neutron... It’s a monster sound 🤘 You really do deserve a lot more followers, peace ✌️

I have a TD-3 arriving tomorrow ! so sequencing CV into the neutron was one of the things I wanted to make a video of, will have to see if I can come up with something neat. Also get to see how close my 303 patch was. Thanks for the kind words

PS. I have seen in a KZbin video there is a possibility to sync the neutron through the sample and hold rate to the bpm in any measure you want.. I could not realize that with ableton because the guy was using a octatrack for that... He sent a "hidden" midi note via mod wheel (midi cc 1) and got a clock signal through the assignable out.. Habe you discovered that too?
@fabricelagrue Жыл бұрын
man, thanks a lot for that... so good !!! I have learn a lot, but i have an Octatrack to sequence my neutron, and velocity doesn't seems to work on my sequence, by any chance, could you help me ? Cheers, and very inspiring channel
@avrilcadabra Жыл бұрын
Octatrak has no velocity setting.or its not doing anything to the neutron? . Been a few years since I made this patch so pretty much all forgotten sadly.

I love your TD-3 comment. It speaks to my question. I want a midi-controllable 303 sound and was debating the TD-3, but this seems to be able to cover the same ground and offer additional possibilities. Is that a fair assessment in your opinion?
@avrilcadabra4 жыл бұрын
Its a bit time consuming to dial in this patch everytime you want a 303 and while I think this is pretty close to a sound you could get from the 303 there are other sounds and behaviours the neutron can't really emulate. Like the decay on the 303 holding a charge. If I could only choose 1 it would be the neutron of course. But I think the midi implementation on the td3 is very good. You might find one super cheap right now on depending on your country. Think they are 89gbp on Amazon today.
