I don't care what y'all say. Since this thing does not have to be imported from the US it saves us Europeans a hefty amount of money! I hate it when the price in USD is 100 and the price in Euro's is 130 because of import bullsh*t.
@HotRodTypewriter5 жыл бұрын
meneerjansen00 it’s basically the same price. We have our own "VAT" style state taxes that don’t get added into that initial $100USD you always see. Every state taxes different so instead of having 50 different "vat prices" they list the base price and the states then add tax. We also have shit tariffs from China currently so we also get those added as well (even though Tr*mp says we don’t). So when you see $100 we are actually paying closer to $150 and it’s the EU that is actually the better deals. Plus, due to the tariff war, we are not even getting these synths from Behringer until months after everyone else. It’s a shitty time to be a synth consumer in USA.

@@nathankirklambo1986 the jupiter 6 wasnt that great either but could whack out very upfront bass, but modulation was allready digital , i would rather behringer make some original rethink of synths like neutron wich is a bit of cross between pro one and ms20 and crumar spirit

Yeah, I don’t see why they would be 🤨 If this had the preset memory I thought I’d heard it was supposed to, then maybe, but I’m not convinced a sequencer and digital effects are THAT huge a difference compared to the other reissue... But maybe that’s just me 🤷🏼♂️

Last Line of Defence Records not at all. It is closer to the OG than this. The stupid sequencer & FX make it NOT an Odyssey.

Unimpressed by this release from behringer. Not quite as warm as my korg odyssey that’s not quite as warm as an actual odyssey, thats no where near as warm as a live brass section

I like the fact that I can afford it and I'm not interested in buying a real korg arp anymore.

Having used both extensively I can tell you its every bit as warm as every version if not warmer.
