me too~ I started with 2 adults and a baby for my first sims experience and the child protective services took the baby to keep it from dying when the sims became dysfunctional and would not tend to it..

I just downloaded SIMS 4 and played sims for first time. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED! Child protective services took the baby! I created a male and female and a baby and did not know they would not auto be married...they were strangers living together and both adults became dysfuntional, did not get along and stopped tending to the baby no matter what I did and it was literally dying..I was horrified...watching that baby die with no responses to help it from the adult sims...so right before it died...the notification child protection services whisked the baby away due to neglect....and I was so relieved so it did not die but frustrated could not get the adult sims to help it. So then I created a family by having romance start from scratch then get married and have a baby via pregnancy and it has gone much better. Yet i can not imagine having even more than couple kids the amount of energy money attention etc it requries to take care of them plus keep up their emotional and social needs too...
