Honestly I don’t get the big deal about sumi not being playable until *blank* palace. If she joined earlier it would feel more like a betrayal during certain parts of *blank* palace. And let’s be real, going into 3rd semester with only akechi and sumi is a pretty cool moment. Now with ng+ runs they really should’ve made her playable through the game like what they did with zenkichi

when it comes to experiencing royal for the first time, it's not so bad, it flows with the story, each character seperatly gets their own palace to be developed on more than others during said palace you run through for Ng+ or futher it's just to use save wizard to summon her as a playble character if you want to use her earlier, and if you're thinking of the case of her confidant it's close to valentine and all that so that part can just be put along those categories

Man, your videos are so relaxing, I was in a bad place at the beginning of this summer and my brother persuaded me to buy Persona, I picked up Persona 4 during the steam summer sale and over the course of the last month (and 2 weeks) I have completely fallen in love with this entire series and have played most of the games in the series (3-5R including the spin offs) and I am half way through strikers. I only date one girl per playthrough. I have it down to an Art now how to time mange. Though my very first persona play through, I only completed one confidant.

I gotta say, the game dropping you on the metro system on the 1st day with no guidelines other than the name of where you are supposed to go was what hooked me. Getting lost somewhere you don't know and having to figure out the layout was such a deliciously mundane experience, something I'd have never expected in a videogame. The last day I decided to not use fast travel except when strictly necessary and I loved noticing that I really knew my way around the streets now. A perfect depiction of how a huge and scary place slowly turns into a home. And the bittersweet realization I had to move on from that home.

Me and my friend are still both going through P5R together taking turns when we hang out, the difference is that I know the game pretty much by heart just from watching and researching the crap out of it (yeah I don't got a PS4 but that whole thing will change with the ports) while my friend is essentially blind on it. And we're both big Akechi fans, but he's totally on the "Noob" category here and it's so hard for me to keep quiet, it was only recently where we could finally even discuss how he's a party member.
