Just finished all of your videos. So yea give me more content! Since I just started Persona 5 R, I have to make a confession: I feel disconnected from all the side dialoges... In Persona 3 + 4 and in nearly all JRPGs I talked to nearly all NPCs listened to them etc... here I just switch from event to event via fast travel and it feels off... (Maybe because I already know the main story through watching a Let's play of Persona 5)

Not liking the modern Persona games is reasonable. I can't actually stand them. The balance between dating sim and dungeon crawler is nonexistent. I feel the dating sim is more prominent than the dungeon crawler and the S-link writing is mostly bland. The fandom also killed what little enjoyment I had left. Bought SMTV and never beat the first boss because Twitter made it all that miserable. So though you may have different tastes, you can't fault the rest of us

You should have a look to Italian videogames sales rankings. Here people who doesn’t match the description are a freaking exception. (I never even met someone who knows Persona in Italy) Every single month each version of FIFA is the most bought game while the second game (usually Cod) sold like a third of the copies. That’s because in Italy there’s a morbid culture of soccer. It is considered the only sport who really matters (as well as the intrinsically best one by a mile) , there is nothing more than that. And also Italy is a country with a pretty old population who doesn’t even takes videogames seriously and believes games like FIFA are all there is to them.

Thanks for the laughs! When I got my gaming summary from PlayStation about last year, I had put almost 300 hours into P5R. My longest save file was only 140 hours, though. The rest of that time was taken up with restarting sections or the whole game when I found out I had missed something.

I think people have a problem with reading, most of the complaints are because the game isn't on their favorite platform (not anymore, unless you want it on the nintendo 64), or because they don't like to read (even though the game has voices). If you don't like to read, why would you play an RPG, when one of its main attractions is storytelling and character development?

You know, I think Persona 5, fittingly enough, is like a finely brewed coffee. It requires a more matured and refined taste to properly appreciate and enjoy, and you can't expect to gulp it all down in one go, and some people just don't have what it takes for that. You can have proper solid reasons to not enjoy the game, and that's fine, but this ain't it chief. Also saying Persona music is bad is legally a crime and is a valid cause for open riots, and if I ever personally meet someone saying that I wanna see what they actually listen to because I'm 99.99999% sure it'd be hot garbage that would hardly qualify as real music. Seriously I'm all for letting people have different opinions and likes, I enjoy debating and seeing different points of view but there's a limit to what I can tolerate

It is an engaging turn based game but yeah, that's probably only like 40, maybe even 30% of the game. The rest of it is either watching the story unfold or the real life portions where you're doing a lot of reading and what not. I always tell people to go into it like you're watching an anime that occasionally has interactive portions, it's definitely not for everyone.
