My question
@googleyt26222 жыл бұрын
I worked in a restaurant/bar and it was mostly restaurant traffic 'til 9PM when kitchen shut down and then the clubbers would come out for liquor service after that (with DJ or Band with dancing). No under 21s allowed after 10PM. Clearly, plaintiff wanted a club party (18+) involving drinks but not food. One waitress seems a bit unrealistic, but servers don't make their tips on selling soft drinks. Also, I presume walk up service was available at the bar. Anyway, I can see why owners and staff don't care much for such an event and not to mention keeping track of 18s and 21s creates a lot of hassle, especially if they were mixing an adult event and an 18+ event in the same hall. I think plaintiff realized that this is pretty ridiculous and that she will really have to wait 2 more years to party in the clubs with the 21s. Defendant is an idiot.

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 good for her, I'm glad she had the courage to go there and actually have her case together and just state the facts. She was very mature and on point. Judge was immediately drawn to that bc she knew she wasn't going to waste her time. The promotor on the other hand was not prepared and basically incriminated himself. If she had the idea of a party at night and you know there is alcohol that is the main seller, no one under 21 should be there. That isn't her fault. He knew he was wrong by selling her a false dream. And whether the owners are not communicating or what, is not her responsibility and he should be alittle more thorough in his event planning. Regardless if it is $600 or $6000 , that shouldn't deter you from being transparent and loyal to your client and making sure you give them the best outcome and experience you can. People can be more understanding if you tell the truth and provide transparency from the jump.
