A 26 year old man really went for an 18 year old girl and then married her 3 years later. A foreigner got on a dating app to hook up without condoms and matched with a woman who would justify his gross behavior by saying it’s just because he’s French. She took a photo of his ID in case he knocks her up even though all he has to do is flee the country and never see her again. This is all just so wild. I’m in shock but thankfully the vegan couple came through and saved the day with their seemingly healthy relationship. I like them a lot. They’re older and mature. They didn’t say anything crazy that they did or are putting up with like everyone else.😅😂

Being myself from France, I can tell you that we learn the importance of condoms and other contraceptives at public school... you just got unlucky and got a guy who wanted and tried to do it without protection. Many Korean men do the same as well. Most French men I know would absolutely use condoms, not only because they're scared to get you pregnant but because of STDs... when I heard your story, I felt so embarrassed he is French, for real.

French here. No it's not a cultural thing in France to NOT wear condom, unless you're in a long relationship or married. We learn like around 12/13 about them at school, about the most common for men but also the one for women. And you can buy them EVERYWHERE, big market, pharmacy, jeez even at my middle and high School there was free distributor in toilet. Even now, in lot of cities you will find distributor in front of pharmacy so you can buy them when phamarcy and market are closed. Every French know what "Sortez couvert" means. Guys, girls, if men don't want to wear a fucking condom, and YOU don't want to risk anything, then don't have sex with him, if he is not okay with that, then back off, he not worth it. Pregnancy is not the only risk, there is some mental people out there knowing they have some sexually transmitted infections and yet want to have sex without protection to literally contaminate others. I mean some public guy in Korea was on the news not long ago for doing that too.

Yes, and they said they had been together for THREE weeks. Three weeks into a relationship is not the time to stop wearing condoms, or in any way voice an objection to wearing them. That is not a culture difference, that is the difference between a man who is more interested in maximizing his own pleasure than in keeping himself or you safe. Based on his other comments he also came across as someone not concerned with how you or anyone else really feel, only with what he wants, how he feels, his convenience, his own views and opinions. And certainly not interested in bridging any cultural gaps, as he made it pretty clear he doesn’t give a damn about the culture or norms of the country he is currently residing in. I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t even bother taking his shoes off indoors unless asked to.

As far as I heard, not all, but most Koreans are facing a dating-relationship crisis. The reasons vary from person to person to the conditions and expectations they set for themselves. Now, if interracial dating-relationship helps to "solve" or even "alleviate" this burden, I think most people support it. Go for it and find your true love and soul mate outside your own race if you are willing to go against traditional norms.

I find it funny how people are judging the stability or flaws of these relationships when we just saw edited interviews. Whether we would like the same or different people as they have chosen, doesn’t make us experts in strangers relationships. Too many judgements and assumptions based on 5 minutes of conversations for each couple. I’m sure the French/Korean couple didn’t agree to this interview so they can get dating therapy from all of us. Some people are bad judges of character in their own lives but find it easy to analyze others choices in mates. I’m grateful to all the couples for sharing their perspectives on this topic knowing how the internet can be cruel for apparently no reason.

I think the young married couple are very mature and caring! As a 40 year old married woman arguing fairly is so important and it seems as though they are good at it!
