It's really annoying because my mum is greek but doesn't speak to her family so I've completely missed out on all of this, literally know no greek and seriously feel like I'm missing something. Wish I'd had the chance to go to even go to greek school :/

Jodie Pearce dont worry i didnt either, i get to see my greek family but my mum and brother are both fluent and never taught me greek so i always feel like ive had a part of me missing! Its never too late to learn a language though, keep practicing it and feel that greek pride🇬🇷

Greekschool is horrible. Every Saturday I had to go to Greekschool. I could never have sleepovers, so I would pray it would be canceled every week. Also I'm in Canada and my church has the same name as yours!! Funny, small world

Lived with my grandma pretty much my whole life, usually always something in the kitchen. Visited Greece, been in the streets as well! I’m lucky my dads not as protective as most but it’s still. My grandma is in America without her precious tuberware, so we use the recycled plastic tuberware everyone likes to point out. I spent years in Greek school and was very determined not to learn, so determined in fact I traumatized a tutor and can’t even write a grocery list to save my life.

Greekschool was for me twice of three times a week (in Germany). In the evening. After school. While other children were playing and enjoying their life ... yeah. I hated it ... literally

I am greek from Greece and i have been brought up in actuall Greece. I have to say that this isnt very accurate for greeks in Greece and also that you clearly do not sound greek for A greek. You sound like these tourists who only knows one or two words smh
