Makes me think about how much we've normalized the use of glasses. They're a tool. I had a discussion with my mom about me disregarding my humanity bc I socialize using my phone and computer, and I argued that they’re just tools created by humans to facilitate things (like long distance relationships/communication) and if you said using a computer wasn’t human, then why using parchment and ink more human?
