Stephanie, you are so right. Take care of yourself, create your own happiness.Don't look outside yourself for love and happiness. Love who you are and do things that fulfill and make you happy. Being single allows you to do what you want, when you want and not have to be concerned that it's not what someone else wants. Personally i just recently ended a four year relationship with a toxic person, and i now feel free and alive. I am me once again, and getting happier by the day. I am open to the possibility of a new relationship, but nobody will ever again take me away from me.Thank you for another wonderful video! Wishing you a wonderful holiday season.

You can watch what YOU want on TV too! You don't have to discuss anything with anyone - just do what you want! I love this. I almost would bring a guy just to make other ppl feel better. It bothers ppl that I'm single for some reason, which makes me think "maybe I do need a man since it makes me weird to other ppl" (that's the codependent in me talking). Thanks for sharing, it helps to hear this from another woman.

But see then you are beginning to realize that people are just projecting their own stuff onto you and then you’re taking on that projection and questioning maybe you do need a person in your life when really you’re happy where you are. I’m so glad! Everything is a choice and everything is perspective on how you want to look at something. That’s the beauty of the freedom of choice that we have we can either focus on all the things are going wrong or focus on all the stuff in our lives that are going right. Being single is a hugely empowering place to be
@webeducation5 жыл бұрын
Not looking at Facebook = freedom. I don't listen to love songs, or Christmas music for now. I stay away from that stuff. Found a hobby I am really into. Haven't had that in a really long time. Working on my craft. Setting SMART goals and making a routine. Next goal is to execute a routine for 30 days straight. It's important to Bea able to sit in silence as well. Also try to figure out what flaws you may have and work towards fixing it. Get a devotional or workbook you can go through on a daily basis that has action steps. Don't move to the next step until you've successfully completed the current one. Set 3 new standards for yourself as well. These are deal breakers for your next relationship. Reasonable ones of course. Also look at the "wheel of life" which consists of "spirituality, family, friends, career, education, health, and finance". Mark down each week what you did to better yourself in each area, even if it only to 10 min to do it. After you have done this consistently for 3 months. Try to make these things a daily habit. Create a priority scale to help you make better decisions. Such as a shower is more important than cleaning, and cleaning, and cleaning is more important than that phone call you have to make, etc . These are things you do everyday and will help show you what you have values most and what you have values less. Once a month or you can afford to, try to pay it forward at a drive thru. If you watching a commercial and your butt is on the couch at the same time, do 10 squats, next commercial, do 10 calf raises, next commercial do light stretching. Last but not least, set aside 1 whole month where every week you put together a nutritional plan. Then try to execute your new cost effective plan throughout the week. If you fail to accomplish this task within a month. Then take 3 whole months to do this. But before you do the nutritional planning take only 1 month to get what you need to get in order. Next if you shave, or do anything to your face. Then place a fog free mirror in the shower, a little higher than normal. This will cause you to have to stand on your calves to use the mirror. Tell yourself you cannot enter the shower without doing some rotator cuff work. Now if you find yourself unable to do this because you are rushing to work for example. Then something has to go. Pick 1 thing each day that is not urgent or important and drop it from your things to do that day. What one thing can you do without today? This could also be a sign your vegging. Most likely because your looking for answers to a problem through, or your overworked. You can veg out but put a time limit on it. Also if your going to veg only allow yourself to veg on your craft. Like literally sit at your desk and pull out a book related to you career. Now I don't care what you do with the book. You can doodle or make paper airplanes out of the pages but you are going to sit there in front of it. Or bring a blank sheet of paper too. You are creating a habit. Remember that 90% of the battle is just showing up. You have to be present before you can do anything. Also write down your 5 biggest time wasters in sort of a Feng Shui style. For example my biggest time waster was KZbin on my cellphone. I have an app on my phone that only allows me to use KZbin 10 min at a time on the weekends. So now o don't wonder on a SAT or sun where did all my time go. But I allow myself access to KZbin at anytime through my laptop since I rarely use my laptop. Also put stuff along you normal path through your home if you have something you use regular then put it in a place where you don't have to go out of your way to get it. And last but not least, this one is really important. Try 1 thing each month related to grooming. If you never had a mustache, grow one. Never wore a tie , try it for a every weekend for a month. See how you feel. Then write down 3 movie actors who you respect both their character and personality. Then watch as many of their movies as you can. And the same goes for TV shows. 2 TV shows that helped me put things I perspective when going though my breakup was "My Crazy Ex" and "Hoarders". Then finish the day off with writing down 3 unique things you are greatful for that day. An one last quick tip, if you in a breakup and need to get out and be around people. Grocery store, bookstore, coffeeshop and cheap places such as (dollar store, goodwill, etc) since you will be going their a lot just to get away for a little bit. Hope this helps. Now you have something to do for the holidays and beyond. You can do this. Even Michael Jordan was once told he was not good at basketball. And as Wayne Dyer once said "when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change". You can also buy a gift for those less fortunate such as a child someone who needs to pay a bill. The expression on their face is their gift to you. Another thing is that completing the steps above will give you hope, and hope as well as seeing new possibilities you never saw before is what will help drive you. Remember too that "if nothing changes, nothing changes", and that "you don't have to be great to start, but you have to start, in order to be great". You got this 👍

Thank you for this amazing video! Indeed, being single is clearly NOT the the worst thing that can happen to anyone. I think people are only miserable being single if they let themselves be miserable about being single. In all honesty, I think holidays can be lonely and stressful even if you had a family because you could just be left out of the loop the entire time or you could have a very broken dynamics. Please put your sanity and well-being before what may look good. I know it may be hard, but staying off social media and forcing on what you can give instead of what you do not have is a good way to be happy regardless of relationship status and other situations in life. Even if I am single, I am spending Christmas Eve at a friend's house for a sleepover, and then going for a dinner with a different friend on Christmas Day evening. On New Years, yet another friend has invited me to spend the day with her. You see, Im not lonely this holidays even if Im single because I have great friends and people that love and care about me. I try to remember that relationships are beyond just romance and dating, and it is quality of that said relationship that matters. Don't get caught up in having just ''anyone and anybody'', care about who you spend your time with and the quality of that relationship.

I am going through a divorce. I truly am happier now than I have ever been. I can do whatever I want when I want. My son lives with me and he’s single but he’s happy too.he works 12 hours a day. And when he’s home he plays x-box and stuff with his coworkers and mine. I get on my phone and read Facebook and play on my laptop. We don’t have someone that gets pissed because we aren’t giving him our undivided attention. I’ve started buying myself little things as like a reward. This is the first time I’ve ever been practically on my own and I love it. Nobody’s telling me how to live my life and spend MY money. I feel like a bird that’s been let out of a cage.

Being Single sucks, but when looking for that "one" needle in a haystack becomes impossible, Single is the most peaceful moment in a world of Chaos. In my years of life experience and interactions with people from the Rich and Famous to the Poor and Homeless, there are two types of people, Those who Seek truth in all things and those who love the Lies and hate the truth and hate all those who bring truth to the Table. Those who seek truth in all things usually are the ones who have "Inner Peace". They dont need material things, don't need to travel the world or have lust for money. I equate Those with inner peace, as like the character "Grasshopper" in Kung Fu David Carridine. Not the religious part of it under Budda, but those who seek and love knowledge and Truth in all things, they have the ultimate "Inner Peace".

I said it a bit strongly because I thought (maybe erronously, I did not know this person very well, just an acquiantance) he needed "strong medicine" for the mind block he seemed (to me) to be suffering from. I wanted to liberate him from his own apparent limiting belief.
