The country has no manufacturing industry, it makes nothing and they have no resources like oil or gas. It imports medicines, gas, oil, machinery. These imports needs to be paid in USD but when their currency lost 99% of it's value than importing goods is prohibitive and the cycle is repeated.

No bank will ever accept a bank check from another bank and cannot take a loan from anywhere. This is what happens when politicians are able to run the banking systems.
