I LOVE your videos. You are so thorough and explaining everything and I love it. Thank you. I am new to BÉIS. Just purchased the small carryon, the commuter duffle, & the north/south tote. All in pink. Did I make a mistake in buying pink? Also, should I exchange the small carry on for the international carryon. We haven’t went out of the country but hope to in the next couple of years. Was the commuter duffle a mistake too? Maybe too big for flights and will it just be used for car trips? Should I get another personal bag? Maybe the east west tote, Backpack or another for personal item? I know this is a lot of questions. So sorry about that.

I just got the Beige one and it's STUNNING. I feel like the zipper should open from the other direction so, while it's over my shoulder, I can half unzip and grab my drink. I also wish this one had shorter straps like the east to west. I want a mini tote created too. 😍 I also wish they had a carry-on size for budget lines.

I’m not sure if it will Because they don’t always repeat collections, but all of their items have water bottles pockets and laptop sleeves! I’m sure they will have some sort of awesome one!

I looked at the East West version but didn’t like the zipper not closing all of the way across or the black interior. I hated that because it looks so nice! I did but the BÉIS medium check bag for my trip to Italy in June, plus the carry on for upstate NY In September. They match perfectly with my mini weekend!

Thank you for sharing your review. Question… I just received the expandable backpack. I’m not use to it because I’m of a certain age, in other words, I’m in my late 60s. I would like to get the tote bag but either way if I don’t overpack, will either of these impact my shoulders or back? Does Beis have a convertible tote/backpack? I got the backpack for work & travel, especially IF I go to Europe in the fall. What do you suggest? Thank you again. I did see your Monos reviews as well. Thx.

Well, a backpack can obviously hurt a back if it’s heavy, but at least it is evenly distributed. I use this tote daily as my purse and wear it crossbody, which can technically strain only one shoulder. So really it’s all about your preference!

It seems like this might not work as a personal item with United. Their size restrictions are 17 X 10 X 9. Is the bottom inflexible or would you be able to squish this into the dimensions if it’s not stuffed?

You can squish it. And United wouldn’t even look at it. It is a skinny tote bag.

I looked up a 16 inch Macbook pro and at it’s widest it is 14.01 inches. If the 16” MBP were standing tall inside the tote, would it still not fit even outside of the designated laptop sleeve, and just stored in the main big compartment? Because I see the height on this bag is at least 15 inches, right?

I don’t, only the north/south. Look up the personal item size on your airline, and then the size of the bag. But if it’s anything like this, this is like a tote bag purse. There’s plenty of other bags I would use to only pack a personal item, like a small duffel, large backpack, or underseat roller.

Does the Beis mini weekender bag work as a personal item for most European airlines? I haven't traveled internationally with this brand yet. Yes it's appears the carry on is too large for Iberia, Ita and British Airlines.

Looks like that had feet on the bottom, if so, love that since I don't like putting my bags on dirty floors. That would make a great work tote, alas, I no longer work outside the home but I can see me using it to go to the Farmer's Market and places like that.

I have this bag in beige and it stays surprisingly clean looking and is really easy to wipe clean. I have the East to West in black and the fabric is different in black, it has more of a canvas feel where the beige is more of a plastic-y feel if that makes sense. Love it!

It’s been great, surprisingly. Like Sarah said, it’s not a canvas, it feels more wipeable. I took it in the muddy rainforest and throughout Australia and a cruise and it was great!
