I could always find a good move against stockfish, usually I would end up with the choices of being down an exchange or down a piece, so I was always able to easily play the best move. Eric is just bad.

@@alikhaled2389 I did this once, and chess.com sent me a message basically telling me to stfu or die. They even took the rating I gained from it away oof. They give one warning, and after the warning, they ban if you do it again.

@Bard Erland noone has a problem with good chess players, e.g hikaru who has a rating of 3200, we dont like cheaters who ruin the game for others, if you are rated 900 you want to play against other 900`s so you can improve, not someone who is reading a 3000+ rated engine that will destroy you

tldr: He sorta knew he was cheating. Guy has 99+ accuracy or 7% with no inbetween (engine vs no engine). Brah gets his rating back, a few decent 10-20 donations and cheater got banned. All in all feelsgood.

From their opponents perspective, they just got crushed by someone better than them and even though the cheater is aware they are cheating, they still get that feeling of superiority from winning.

Those random King moves without any real reason are usually the giveaway. The engine wants to avoid a potential mate in 14 at depth 35. Useful when engine plays engine, blunder when cheating.

Only problem was that his mistakes were just so bad it was obvious again :'D Missing mate in 4 a couple of times, then even losing the threat with the rook move and then moving it back to create the same threat just to miss it everytime again :'D PS Not the only problem ofc ;)

Yorick Schouten if it’s mate in 1, you would take time to make sure that you win, because time doesn’t matter after that. 10 seconds is just enough to put it into the engine

i love how relaxed he stays even though he obviously understands something stock-fishy is up.... I've watched a lot of (non-chess) streamers who are quick to get salty and accuse their opponents of cheating, but he keeps a strait face and verbally assumes the best (even though he clearly knows whats up) which is super classy.

Honestly why even cheat? Especially in chess, which is a time consuming game, you consume all that time getting better and better. If you cheat, you're wasting time for literally nothing because you don't learn shit. It's equivalent to look at a wall for 50 hours.

@@magicmurloc literally the move that the quote is from is not an engine move, i followed the game with an engine and the evaluation went from +2 to -7. eric was baffled because it was obvious that the dude threw in a non engine move to try and have some plausible deniability and the dude obviously doesn't know what he's doing so he played an absolutely terrible move.

Thank you for playing my great great grandfather's opening. Yes, he would be very happy to see his brilliancy coming back to life again. It is a legacy in our family to keep on playing chess and spread this masterpiece around. I am currently around 1400 and hopefully I will make my way to 1500 with the family legacy. Kh1 followed by f4, why a human can't see it? (even a 900 player) He removed the king from diagonal because that f pawn was pinned and so after Kh1 he can play f4
