In this Belarus video we start Friday off with a nice dinner at Fabriq restaurant, before heading out to explore the nightlife in Minsk. I must say I was really impressed. We saw lots of talented musicians and young folks singing, dancing and having a good time.
The next day we did some sightseeing and checked out the National Library of Belarus, before venturing into another popular street with many bars: Oktyabrskaya Street. As it was quite rainy, we decided to go for some food and found a bar called Maneki, where they prepare amazing sushi. Next we met with Valeriya's friend and spent the remainder of the evening barhopping.
A few days later we strolled through the Old Town of Minsk and checked out the amazing monument on the Isle of Tears. We then walked further to the theatre Theatre of the Republic of Belarus before having dinner at Khinkal'nya.
Finally we returned to Martinique Bar and enjoyed a beautiful live performance by Olga Satsiuk.

I was in Minsk in 2018. Great place… I’m in the process of buying an apartment there. Only 28k euros for a modern 1 bed room. I had to open up an account in a Turkish bank because of sanction on Belarus etc. I send money from Canada to the Turkish bank to my Belarus bank. It’s annoying but living in Minsk is worth it. Modern infrastructure, amazing and beautiful people, great food, great history. Belarus benefits so much being an ally of Russia. Extremely cheap cost of living is amazing.

I agree with you, my girlfriend not necessarily, but I guess it is different when you are not from there originally. Would love to buy an apartment in Minsk myself as well. Congratz on that! Let's go for a drink when I get back sometime.

Ну что....Снято хорошо, динамично, креативно, вкусно....Мне за последнее время пришлось побывать в Вене, Брюсселе, Копенгагене, Осло, Стокгольме, Гётеборге, Риге, Вильнюсе, Таллине, Варшаве, Берлине, Париже...Ну, пришлось...Так вот все эти столицы резко уступают Минску по подобным уличным тусовкам...Здесь есть ресторанная чистота и привлекательность, там на улицах жрут пиво и стаканчик вина...Лица не выразительные, места обычные, общепитовские, девули не смотрятся так, как в Минске...Когда вы снимали, Два года назад? Если в 2022 или в 21 -ом , то круто ребята гуляют, а главное как то по-шляхетски...Обязательно побываю как-то...Надо побывать после такой рекламы...Спасибо!!! (Молдова, Кишинёв)

Bro, what would you have me do about it? Should I go to prison as well? Of course I know about the situation in Belarus, but I chose not to talk politics and tried to showcase the nice things in Belarus. I and many other people actually look forward to experiencing the good things that the country has to offer. I was welcomed warmly by my girlfriend's family and enjoyed my stay there. During weekends/nighttime the people seem to be having a good time, despite the hardships. One last thing I will say before I conclude: War, bloodshed, politics and people suffering in the name of profit/power, happens all over the world and is from all times. Some people are more lucky/privileged than others sure, but most of the time we can all make a choice for a better life.
