She's more recently stated that she didn't care for this album (A Woman and A Man) at all and it's her least favourite album. I think at this point she was literally going through the motions and lost, and turned back to drugs and alcohol. She looked fantastic still so hid the problems well. But aside from In Too Deep the album really was mediocre at best.

I love Alway's Breaking My Heart the most, California probably 2nd & the title track third. I also like In Too Deep & Listen to Love but I agree, overall it's one of her worst albums. I still like it better than Wilder Shores though.

I wonder does she consider The Supremes to just be a VOCAL GROUP & not a girl band? They didn't play instruments. Unlike Spice Girls I don't think they even wrote their own songs.
