Looks delish. It looks similar to a conch soup we make in Antigua called "conch water" we just minus the provisions. I will be giving this version a try. Thanks for sharing

Thanks a lot for the uplifting words. Thanks for voting for me too. I really love doing the show because I remember when I couldn't cook anything at all and now that I know, I like to show others how to do it. Can you believe even my boys are watching the videos to make their dad and me dinner when we've had a long day at work? I guess this show will be my legacy to them. :)

Lol...I got the shirt made at the local fair. Funny about the amount of conch you'll use too. I know people who make conch fritters and use the water used to boiling the conch than putting the real conch. Thanks for commenting.

Hi BelizeanBeauty.. When you say LA do you mean Los Angeles or Louisina? If it is L.A. California, I got mine at Dot Moi. I'll have to look up that address for you because my dad sent me there from his store and now I don't remember where. :)

Very interesting! I didn't know how the soup got started. I see that you patiently browned the flour in the beginning. Got it! Great video.

Hi. I hope this isn't too personal but I just wondered how long you lived in Belize and in what part(s)? I am asking because we are planning to relocate there and are particularly interested in the PG area. Are there different "favorites" (if you will) according to districts? Could you possibly elaborate if so? Also, what are some of the most expensive meats there? Are there many? I know seafood is big but I don't see a lot about chicken, pork, rabbit, etc. What about goats or cows? Is there a reason for this? I love watching your videos (although I absolutely cannot stand coconut! Blech!) I suppose I'm gonna have to get used to it, huh?

+Dorothy Validus Hi Dorothy I was born in Belize and raised there for the first 15 years of my life. I've lived in America for over 30 years so I'm the wrong person to answer most of your questions. I was raised in Kings Park in the city and didn't visit any districts until my last visit in 2013. Good luck with your move and perhaps another viewer can better enlighten you.
