A very great artist. Unfortunately, she is no longer with us. She captivated many with her impressive voice. There are many greats in country music, but Bille Joe Spears stands out in particular. We miss her and true country music fans will always keep her in their hearts.

I remember when I was with the Canadian Ice Patrol out of Cape Breton most of the nurses were married to coal miners and a lot of their husband died from lung disease and were treated in hospital by their wives. I believe the coal mines travelled well under the St Lawrence

Dr. Paul Smith, dentist, went to Walkerville High School Windsor same time as Billie Jo. "OH gosh! Those teeth! He remembered the original pre 1969 when Dr. Oliphant dentist in Chatham Ontario Canada gave Linda Rondstat new rabbit teeth. His secretary said to Brenda Lee, "You must realize that Dr. Oliphant is blind."
