I love this song so much. It brings back so many GREAT memories of my childhood & growing up in Houston Co Alabama. I can remember riding around all those old country county farm roads & old dirt roads in Dothan Alabama with my dad in the 70s in his 1972 Chevy C/10 pickup truck LWB...307 V8...3spd on the column...no a/c...both windows rolled down...no p/s...8-track player that was always playing SOLID GOLD TRADITIONAL COUNTRY MUSIC. Looking back...I can still hear my dad saying "country music won't ever get better than Merle Haggard, Tom T Hall, Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Freddie Hart, Buck Owens, Bobby Bare, Faron Young, Jerry Reed, Mel Tillis, Mel Street & he would go on & on." THIS IS STILL SOME OF THE GREATEST MEMORIES OF ME & MY DAD!!! I SURE DO MISS HIM. Much love from Mobile Alabama.
