Sorry to hear about your dog. We don't have many peals this heavy in Ireland, only Dublin('s 2 Cathedrals), Londonderry, Wexford, and Bray. Looks satisfying to ring.

Aye, they're certainly a really fantastic set of bells. And thanks. Sadly it's life. Almost four years ago now. Crazy how time flies.

Lovely bells and ringing. Heavy 8 sound great You need to ring at Adelaide . Sorry about Susie. I know the feeling all to well. The strange thing about life is that if we isolate ourself from pain and grief we also isolate ourselves from love and joy.

Thank you. They’re a gorgeous eight. If I’m ever in Australia I may go to Adelaide, very grand bells. Susie was both expected but unexpected at the same time if you know what I mean. She had a heart murmur and was on some pretty strong stuff. It’s still very sad though as I remember the day we found her in France. Her old owners had just dumped her in the middle of nowhere and we found her in a ditch when out looking for one of our sheep that had escaped. She was such a sweet little dog...

Ringer Jake same thing happened to my little dog Reg. He had a heart problem and kept colapsing and we had him put down. It ripped me apart and even now brings me to tears. There are some fine bells here in Sydney. St Andrews Cathedral is a Taylor 12 of 29cwt and St Marys is a 34cwt Whitechapel 12 with two semis so you can ring a light 10. They are a carbon copy of Canterbury and my old man put them in 1986. He used to be a bell hanger for Whitechapel. He put the new 10 in the Westminster Abbey in 1971

Sorry to hear that. Pets don’t live long enough, not by a long shot. Ah yes. Sydney has some good rings of bells! St Mary’s is on my list as I really do like Whitechapel bells a lot. I remember reading that your father worked for Whitechapel and had hung Bow and Westminster. He may well have know the designer of Westminster’s frame. Roger something... I forget his last name. His wife is called Mary and they ring in Harefield, Gr. London. Nice couple. But as I was saying St Mary’s are on my list... can’t resist a ring of bells in C#!

Ringer Jake Sy Marys are great as the tower is huge and the accoustics great St Andrews is small tower and on two levels A great 10 but not a brilliant 12 due to the levels. The back 8 sound really great. I want to ring at Yeovil on the augmented 12
